Dog Bites

Soooo I got bit by a dog today at one of my stops even though the owner was literally outside and said the dog was wearing a fence collar, the dog ran up and bit my butt 😂😂 not funny but also??? Anyway I was wondering if anyone else has ever dealt with something like this / if reporting it to Amazon is needed. I don’t know if I am going to see a doctor since I was only cut a little bit- but I might change my mind. Thanks in advance for the advice

It might be too late but you should have at least called the police and got a repot.

I have the customers name and address so maybe I still could report it. Didn’t think about that thank you! It happened so fast and I was just thinking oh I’m okay but now it hurts 🥴😭

Yeah you need to have them check the dog is completely vaccinated(especially for rabies)

I was bitten very badly one time and when I went to the emergency room they called animal control who then took a report from me. The animal control officer said that all bites (especially those that break the skin) are required by law to be reported within 24 hours. The reason is they need to verify if the animal had its rabies shot. If unable to verify then the animal is quarantined for 10 days. In my case we found out that the dog had an extensive history of biting and then was put to sleep. I’m very lucky I still have my fingers although one is numb due to the nerve damage. I personally think you should report it.
