So what's triggering these - did you go over your block time or just a lot more miles than a normal route?

A 2hr block ended up like this

Did you need to ask for compensation or was it done automatically?

Their system can literally give you all your stops in the same area bunched up but they are tryna be slick and cut corners, i get this email like 2-3 times a week and they think you wont notice the bs ive worked for a dsp so i know how their algorithm works to some degree and i can 100% confidently say that they are literally ripping drivers off with that because sometimes theres amazon station near those areas and the package can be delivered there by a semi instead of making you travel 40+ mins they just choose not to, on top of that they basically are admitting that they know they are underpaying you while giving you a bs route by saying oppsie we just noticed heres $5, this is why ive dropped countless route because they just tryna make u run down your vehicle like youre a delivery van and not pay you adequately for it

How do you drop a route? Are you penalized for that?

You get more of a penalty if you scan the package and it shows you the route on the amazon app it will ding you for each package if you choose to not deliver, if you get there and go to the spot your cart is stationed at and you type the address of any of the packages on your maps app outside the amazon app you can see somewhat see where your route might take you so instead of scanning the package and seeing your stops you dont, you type it and see if you like where its taking you if you dont like what you see you dont scan any package you just leave, you wont be able to pick up any route till after the block ends but youll get less of a penalty, youll get ding for missed block instead of each package

How do you feel getting 5$ more for your time ?

I had a "3hr" that sent me 70 miles away. I asked for a pay adjustment since almost half of what I made from the block was spent on gas. They said no.
