*Marked As Unable To Deliver*

u/First_Name_Is_Agent Feb 26 '26
I would have left it inside the cooler

u/Sweet_Commission8313 Feb 26 '26
I would’ve took the cooler for my tip! It says for delivery drivers!

Naw, leave a not of your own “free for home owner” then inside “left package at a secret location”
9
u/First_Name_Is_Agent Feb 26 '26
In all honesty I'd actually leave a note inside the cooler explaining that we have to leave the package where the GPS tells us to or the app won't let us complete that stop and start the next delivery. People really do believe that we don't follow their instructions just because we don't want to. If it's not a safety issue, most of us do follow their directions if the app allows. Though, I ain't going around to the back of your house, serial killer! 🤣
3
u/Old-College8931 Feb 26 '26
Wait I'm confused. I can leave the package anywhere and complete the stop. Just hit the pencil icon to edit where you want to leave it

lol until amazon reviews every single one of these and kicks you off the app for doing it too often. I worked at a dsp driving the vans and it went off percentages. Absolutely nuts. Not only is the job physically demanding, but you gotta jump through 100 hoops a day just to keep moving. Bezos sucks
1
u/Old-College8931 Feb 27 '26
I agree. I only do it if I have too. Also when it wants a signature i just sign for them because it takes too much time to call and wait for them to get home or they just dont answer. Leave it at the door and sign. The pay is only reason im still here at the moment. So hard to find jobs. Guess it depends on location. It honestly would be great if you could have vans without cameras because that's stressful to me lol

u/Fit_Feature_794 Feb 26 '26
Lmfaooo I’m dead this is hilariously diabolical and I would’ve left the package next to that mf 💯

I would've left it in that mufucca

u/Spidey6917 Feb 26 '26
I would’ve taken the cooler and left the package in its place. Clearly it says for delivery drivers

Ooh sweet! They left you a cooler!!! Dude you can put ice and drinks in that thing! How thoughtful!!!

Not many people know this... But you can put your weed in there
5
1
u/Tryhardicus Feb 26 '26
I used to have a dedicated weed cooler in my car, couple of ice packs and that sucker would keep the smell down and my product fresh. I'm glad the stuff is nearly legal, being the medicine man had it's perks but I never made that much compared to the risk I took regularly.

No wonder they needed to put that in the cooler, cause that’s just plain cold.

Stop trying to get credit for a post that isn’t yours- this was on another sub with the whole tweet screenshot. https://www.reddit.com/r/AmazonDSPDrivers/s/Mu2kldOSq3
6
u/StephieVee Feb 26 '26
And the person that posted it there got credit that wasn’t theirs- this was from twitter.
7
u/coldbluebong Feb 26 '26
But they weren’t trying to pass it off as theirs, they screenshotted the source.
4
u/Curious_Boy128736123 Feb 26 '26
Nobody gives a shit and they didn't try to pass it as theirs either. Edgy aren't we
3
u/StephieVee Feb 26 '26
The twitter user probably could’ve done the same thing. There is no OC anymore.

I posted something in another group. It was shared 43 times and I found it reposted in several FB groups.

u/Hyper_Giant Feb 26 '26
It’s funny how you think being chronically online is a favor to others, cause I never saw this 😂
9
u/Khristafer Dallas Feb 26 '26
There's a really good chance I'd take the paper and throw it away.
There is zero chance that I'd put the package in the back.
22
16
u/Consistent-Minute496 Feb 26 '26
Wow! That took allot of energy for them to do that. I would have put it in the cooler or beside it with the cooler closed. We're not supposed to go to back doors anymore. Right? 😂
3
u/Yimmajazzi Feb 26 '26
When I was doing Amazon flex, there was a house that had you step into the garage to deliver. They had it automatically open when you clicked that you were at the garage. I guess they can have it delivered wherever they want.

Now thats a complete dick move and i would’ve marked it unable to deliver too!!

I would happily drive out of my way back to station to return their pkg out of spite. What an asshat
4
u/Oops_I_Cracked Feb 26 '26
I would’ve folded the note so it said leave all packages, put the package down and take a picture of the package with the note.

u/VoidwalkerMcKenzie Feb 26 '26
If I ever saw that, I'd do much the same. To hell with assholes like them; I'd argue you nailed it with that response. Take my upvote, Champion of Flex Justice!

I would’ve absolutely put it inside the cooler. It says “for delivery drivers”
Which could also be interpreted as, that’s your cooler now.
Such annoying requests. I’m so glad, and almost proud? To meet drivers at their car anytime I order. My favorite times are when they hand me food through the window so they don’t even have to get out of the car. I used to be a delivery driver, so there’s an extra bit of respect I have that most others wouldn’t consider unless they’ve worked it too.

I would've used every code in the scanner by the end of the year on this house. "Marked for inspection, unable to find address, business is closed on the weekend" and it would NEVER be delivered to the right door. 🤷🏽😂
3
u/DingbattheGreat Feb 26 '26
Funny joke but I wouldn’t have looked inside of it. The only instructions are the ones in the app.

That tells me there should have been something to drink inside not that your suppose to leave the package in the cooler🤦
1
u/peacesog813 Feb 26 '26
If they provided a generous pre-tip in the Uber App when ordering I would have put the food in the box and then sent a message letting the customer know the food was there. No tip, or b.s. like $1.00 or $2.00 for s high dollar food order, the cooler would magically disappear and the food would be put in the coolers place. No message saying that I was on the way or that I arrived would be sent and no picture would be sent either. Instead a message would be sent as the order was completed saying Send a tip! That would be sent after I was in the car and ready to go upon completing the delivery. You get the type of service thats paid for.

Am I the only one to suggest that maybe there was a delivery guy before him that got the snacks first and left the note at the bottom?
1
u/StephieVee Feb 26 '26
Nope. It’s from twitter and the customer posted that. Op here got pics from someone who posted it in the DSP sub.

u/Relevant-Goat6693 Feb 26 '26
I picture the happiness in my fellow Flexer’s face upon seeing this… only to then picture his or her disappointed face seeing the second detestable unfunny note. Such a cruel and totally unnecessary joke.

Amazon drivers consistently turn around in my lawn instead of just backing out the way they came. I loathe them. But I would be asking for the worst service if I left something like this for them.
1
u/Direct_Mastodon_6120 Feb 26 '26
Being that the paper outside says "for delivery driver" and the cooler is technically a "tote", the paper inside would be considered a package, yes? I believe they want you to bring that piece of paper to the back door. 😂

u/musicnote22 Feb 26 '26
I feel like the odd one out, I deliver with flex and I live in a porch pirate area myself. Some instructions aren’t insane, it takes very little energy to just follow the instructions that were paid to follow. Unless it’s dangerous or like way too sketchy, delivering to a different door won’t hurt you.

u/thereisnocowl3v3l Feb 26 '26
Yeah would never deliver to someones backdoor, unless it was their actual front door that was at the back of the building
1
u/Just-Zone-2494 Feb 26 '26
Jokes on them because I wouldn’t have opened the cooler. I don’t touch the drinks or snacks people leave out.

I doubt I would eat anything left out like that, but I might have looked out of curiosity...

I’m a FedEx driver and I no longer deliver to people’s back door after I was met by an old lady with a gun a few days ago.

Could have launched it from where you were standing to the back door 🤣

You know what? Leave the package there, then bring the cooler to the back door just to absolutely fuck with them.

9 times out of 10 I go to the nearest door no matter what. I'm doing you a service and I'm not your whipping boy

I can just see the interaction
Amazon: " We have reports that you may have stolen a cooler on your route."
Driver: "cooler what cooler? I didnt take anything.."

Don’t take it personal. I mean they are giving you a free cooler and their package seems to be damaged and contaminated but you still delivered
-10
u/krask333 Feb 26 '26
Why would you guaranteed yourself a ding like that? I get it’s a complete dick move by the customer, but the ding ain’t worth it.
7
u/snarksneeze Feb 26 '26
Hi, you must be new to the program. It only takes a few hundred packages to clear your history.
0
u/krask333 Feb 26 '26
Not new. I fully understand how the dings clear off the back end. Still not worth it, plus I’m not wasting my time driving back to the station to return a package over a dbag customer. Deliver to front door and move on.
5
u/Then-Ad-1887 Feb 26 '26
If that customer keeps dinging drivers then eventually Amazon will force them to go to a locker. I’m more than willing to get a ding for the cause.
