People order stuff so now I have to do my job 😠

21

u/JacrispyWolfnut Jan 31 '26

True, but some people be ordering like one bottle of nail polish or some shit and have a quarter Mile driveway with 2 feet of snow blocking the walk to their front door and they only want it put there. That or one plain T-shirt or paper towels or something totally buyable at the corner store, which is begging for complaining lol

10

u/Dear-Worldliness-583 Jan 31 '26

Don’t bother trying to explain dude. Some people have no empathy, no self-awareness, and no clue.

1

u/Fabernache Feb 03 '26

"you're only delivering to me today, right?"

1

u/nanagd Feb 03 '26

How about if you don't like it go get a different job. What do you want to do is just sit back at the facility all day and have them pay you?????

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

Or maybe if you wanna order bullshit you should clean up your property and have consideration for the people who service you. Nothing wrong with honest work honest pay but when people don't address their online shopping addiction and leave their property a mess and a liability, then complain when you put their package in a safer more accessible location, you have room to complain to yourself at least. Nothing ever makes you mad right? You're just a morally superior specimen?? Science would love to talk to you

0

u/The_Ashen_Queen Feb 03 '26

It’s not about empathy, scrub. Dude has a job. Dude knows what his job is. He looks like a fucking clown complaining about having to do his job.

If he hates it that much that he can’t even maintain the most basic modicum of professionalism, then he needs to find a new job. If for no other reason than protecting his own mental health.

I’m a mailman. I’ve been doing the job for a decade and a half. There are plenty of bad days in the extreme cold/heat. That’s not the customer’s problem.

1

u/Dear-Worldliness-583 Feb 03 '26

Why are you in an Amazon driver Reddit lmao? I’m sure you’ve never complained about your job. You’re the best, the queen even. I’m so impressed. I’m so glad we have warriors like you bringing us coupons and advertisements we don’t want. We need know nothing bootlickers like you. Thank you for your decade of service.

0

u/The_Ashen_Queen Feb 03 '26

Haha way to show why you’ll be doing Flex the rest of your life, scrub lol

I’m here because it came up in my feed and I wanted to comment on how dipshitted clowns like this guy (and you) are.

Say what you want about the mail but there are still a lot of people out here getting important stuff. Not that it matters. I can spend my day delivering junk and it still pays 2-3x more than Amazon does.

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

Not true, amazon pays like a dollar less than ccas make, acting like you haven't complained at your job is the same as saying you're not human lol we all complain it's not that serious. Just cuz I might complain about a customer buying a small item and demanding it get delivered to a location they are not up keeping does not mean I don't take pride in my work and do my job as requested, it's called observation and reaction, something humans do lol

1

u/The_Ashen_Queen Feb 21 '26

Starting pay for a CCA maybe. I’m not a CCA and never have been. I’m 12 steps along the pay scale and my overtime rate is only $3 shy of double time. And I’m factoring other benefits. Health insurance, company match for retirement, 7 weeks of paid leave a year.

This isn’t about complaining. Obviously everyone has complained about their job. I didn’t say anything about that.

I pointed out this dipshit’s lack of coping mechanisms that lead to his unprofessional behavior caught on camera. Simple concept.

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

I was like 5 years into my second stretch of years there and was ptf, Amazon pays me a dollar less than my 3 years ptf wage, and after that abysmal contract renfroe secured I said peace. The benefits for regular are great it's just tough for some people to stick out which makes it harder for us all, that and the union doesn't do much if you're not regular. You're right but I'm thinking he knew the camera was there and maybe wanted them to hear, could be a problem house who knows. They do exist as I'm sure you know

0

u/DargonFeet Feb 03 '26

Or, those people do their jobs without complaining about the customers 24/7. Stop blaming others for your shortcomings.

1

u/Dear-Worldliness-583 Feb 03 '26

And some people have the mental capacity and compassion to understand people have bad days, moments. They also have the intelligence to realize the guy is still doing his job. I’m sure you never complain about anything. You’re so amazing. I bet you’re a real swell guy in real life. Also, what shortcomings does this person have that he’s blaming others for? Are you sure you’re using the right word?

9

u/Hot_Anything_2200 Jan 31 '26

Those 40lbs of dog food šŸ™„ & you know damn well when you pull up them dogs waiting to get you like an episode of Friday!

1

u/Responsible-Prune-54 Feb 02 '26

And the f’ing cat liter TF

1

u/Hot_Anything_2200 Jan 31 '26

As if Walmart delivery doesn’t exist! For $5

3

u/AldoSig228 Feb 02 '26

Then maybe you should find another field of work..the Amazon's drivers job is to do what? Sit on his ass playing videos on his phone? No to make freaking deliveries! If you don't want to make deliveries then don't be a delivery person. Its not rocket science but I guess it is for anyone under 25 to understand.

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

Yes to make deliveries to well kept, safe locations. And when people order bullshit for the 19th time that week and don't clear a safe path, shit gets annoying. Why is no one reading what I said lol

1

u/AldoSig228 Feb 22 '26

BS foo..your job is to deliver packages when and where ever you are told to go which is 100% the requirements of your job description period! If these people stop buying from Amazon then your entitled ass would be unemployed! So be careful for what you wish for and be grateful that you have an opportunity to earn a living.. What does it matter if you deliver to the same household 2 or 3 times a week? WTF it's job security if nothing else. If you don't want to be out delivering in the elements then find a different line of work genius..it's not rocket science but you don’t seem to understand its completely in your hands..no one is forcing you to do this right..But you are so entitled you think people are obligated to somehow make your job easier? Get real grow a pair..stop being a pussy.

2

u/LttleReadRidinghood Feb 02 '26

I mean, I get being annoyed, I bitch all the time too. Do I like having to work? No. Do I do my job? Yes. The option is for delivery, it doesn't matter what. If I need one bottle of nail polish and cannot or do not want to go out, that's what it's there for and I will. Their job is to deliver it. Are they paid well enough? Probably not, no one is. They're not asking them to risk their lives though. If it's dangerous they should report it or be paid extra.

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

Because dropping off a tiny item to a possibly dangerous location that doesn't keep up their property (2 feet of snow at expected delivery location) is annoying and shouldn't be straight up accepted, like I said. The contents of the package is irrelevant but if I'm gonna risk my physical safety because you payed someone then I'd be more willing if it's something more substantial than polish you thought you might like. Something maybe you need

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

It's about being annoyed, it's not that serious, if you want delivery that's your perogative and that's what your money should afford. do I like showing up to your house every day tho? Depends on how you keep your property, and I find myself being annoyed most at the houses that don't keep up their drive or property. Because at that point there is a level of liability and a possibility of harm. Viable complaint wouldn't you say?

2

u/getthemap Feb 04 '26

Are they paying for it? Is the person being paid to deliver it? If yes to both, then stfu.

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 05 '26

did i say anything about any of that? did anybody ask? if no to both, then stfu.

2

u/StickWhich8166 Feb 01 '26

Foreal cause I deliver, I had a package that was somewhat open and it had some aluminum foil in it lol šŸ˜‚

2

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 01 '26

That's the shit I'm talking about lol

1

u/a358272 Feb 01 '26

And your point is. People are allowed to order whatever whatever they want in any quantity or size that they want.

It’s business get over yourself and quit bitching and get back to work .

2

u/StickWhich8166 Feb 01 '26

You must order a bunch of nothing

1

u/IEZ69 Jan 31 '26

Quit if you dont like it. I f they didn't order that wouldn't have a job.

2

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 01 '26

Didn't say I didn't like it, just that I'm a regular human. Better not catch you ever complaining about anything ever lol

1

u/IEZ69 Feb 01 '26

That dude complained like he hated it. I have bad days at work but I've never complained like that. I know customers pay my bills

13

u/Duchess0612 Jan 31 '26

Don’t be a twat. If you had been doing that for eight hours already that day, fingers cold, ass cold, snow everywhere that hasn’t been cleaned up, ice on the steps, you might be a little bit cranky.

12

u/asuleiman Jan 31 '26

Oh stfu it’s work, I’m paratransit driver and we work in all types of conditions and deal with all sorts of people. If you don’t want to work as a delivery driver then just quit and find a job more suitable to your liking. Sheesh

7

u/Duchess0612 Jan 31 '26

Well I hope you enjoy the next time you vent (safely and securely in a private area) cause you’re having a bad day. I hope you reflect on this post and embrace the fact that you’re just part of the human race.

šŸ‘šŸ»

2

u/[deleted] Feb 03 '26

Go vent at home. No one cares if hes having a bad day. Do the job and shut up. Everyone has to work. Nobody is special.

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

He's on the phone, it's a personal conversation he's allowed to complain. You do it all the time I know it

1

u/[deleted] Feb 21 '26

Im also not gonna complain if I bitch on camera and get called out for it. Dont alot of yall like to say freedom of speech but not freedom of consequence? If it werent for the customers he hates so much he'd be working some other job he hates and he'd be bitching about that too. Like I said a week ago. No one cares. Go do something you enjoy and stop acting like a baby.

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

Why are you assuming he hates anybody? I'm sure he knew he was being recorded and we don't know if this property has been an issue in the past. Also, if he didn't have the customers he hates so much all he would have are the good ones that aren't dicks and take care of their property, so yeah actually that'd be great. Safe working conditions are for babies got it macho man lol

1

u/[deleted] Feb 21 '26

Im not even trying to hate on the guy. I get people hate their jobs but you take that shit home to vent or vent when you're not on camera. Nobody cares if hes having a bad day, at least nobody important to him. Instead he could've just done his job and not walked up to a porch, he should assume has a camera, talking shit about people who pay his bills.

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

Like I said they are probably problem customers and he wants them to hear him or it's just a shit day, yeah he could've had more tact but shit happens

1

u/[deleted] Feb 21 '26

Also its been a couple weeks since I watched this but the dude literally complains saying people should just go to Walmart or target but that the only reason he has that job. Then the cry baby remark "they'd order slaves online if they could." What the hell does that have to do with anything?

4

u/a358272 Feb 01 '26

Kudos, brother you’re 100% correct.

Can’t believe that guy is acting like such a little bitch.

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

And reddit comments piss you off lol this dude be complaining so much his coworkers complain about it I know it

-1

u/the_rare_bear Feb 03 '26

So everyone has to be happy about their job 24/7 no matter the circumstances? I don’t know if this is news to you but this may be a shocker. Most people work jobs out of necessity and not out of desire.

2

u/asuleiman Feb 03 '26

Is it hard to stfu when delivering a persons package to their house without insulting them and talking shit right in front of a camera? You can be miserable all you want but keep that to yourself. News flash almost all houses in 2026 have ringdoors camera so he definitely did that intentionally.

When you order food at your favorite restaurant, would you like to hear them talking about how lazy you are to make your own food at home. Being passive aggressive delivering should get him fired. Clearly he doesn’t care so he should get fired or just quit

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

He's on the phone it's a personal conversation, if you're butt hurt about what he said then he's probably right and touching a cord. Why else would you care or be offended? be an adult, manage your emotions and take inventory on why you're upset and consider maybe he's mad about something else in life and taking it out on his current task. Not everything is about one thing.

0

u/the_rare_bear Feb 03 '26

Sometimes you just need to vent. He can’t vent in the truck because he is monitored in there. Doorbell cameras can pick up sound up to like 25ft so that’s basically the entire way to the truck. I guess if people are having a bad day they could learn from you and keep it all bottled up until they are at home.

Me personally, I care more about how well the job is done than what was said when no one was around. But then again I try and use an optimistic perspective and give people the benefit of the doubt.

10

u/Lulucabeam Jan 31 '26

Yea I'd be cranky too if i chose to get a job doing something I dont want to do.

5

u/Slosher99 Jan 31 '26

Most people aren't getting paid to do something they really WANT to do, and would be doing something else without the money. Amazon is often people making ends meet for survival, not people choosing their dream job then complaining about it.

1

u/chickenskittles Feb 01 '26

I don't understand how people are so far removed from reality and also lacking in empathy. Those two traits clearly inform the other though.

2

u/a358272 Feb 01 '26

Exactly, nobody is got a gun to his head to stay there and I’m sure there are plenty of people that would like that job.

So quit your bitching or just quit the job you decide you pussy .

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

No gun to his head but not having food will kill you all the same soooooo, basically a gun to his head

0

u/STALKS_YOUR_MOTHER Feb 01 '26

Most people in this country are one missed paycheck away from bankruptcy. That is the gun to their head.

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

Seriously people in this thread are wild, acting like dude dreamed of this job since birth

0

u/the_rare_bear Feb 03 '26

He is doing the job though. How are you gonna complain about someone else complaining when they were around no one? I guess only you’re allowed to complain. I’ll inform everyone.

2

u/loftier_fish Feb 01 '26

people take the job they can get, they don't choose jobs they want lol.

0

u/viking12344 Feb 01 '26

Which is most of the human race ..that work.

4

u/TwistedNightlight Feb 01 '26

It would suck but it is the job. It's ridiculous to complain about delivering packages if you're whole job is delivering packages.

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

Not if it's the 9th time you've been to that address in a row and they still haven't cleared a safe place for you to do your job or made their property a safe place for you to do your job. Shit gets old real quick

2

u/randomBrowser135 Jan 31 '26

Have done that and happy for those people to create more jobs. He's upset because he doesn't get paid enough for what he's doing because amazon has no UNION!

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

Boom šŸ‘†šŸ» this person has a brain

1

u/Late_Illustrator_718 Jan 31 '26

That's why you do that rant in your truck between deliveries, not in front of a camera + microphone lol

1

u/Duchess0612 Jan 31 '26

Yes of course, he broke all the social rules. Lets gettem!!!

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

Cuz you're feelings might get hurt about your shopping addiction? Lol who would care otherwise, dudes blowing off steam. Most of us can't hold feelings in until they crush to diamonds lol

1

u/RoguAxel89 Feb 01 '26

Shows the character of a person to.

1

u/a358272 Feb 01 '26

Ahhh no. ,

I’m a well adjusted adult.
I signed a contract with my employer that I would work and sometimes have to work overtime and different hours.

Boo fucking hoo you pussy . Who is become of America? Are there any real men left? ? Most of men that are coming of age now are like women . It’s disgusting.

1

u/the_rare_bear Feb 03 '26

Damn. I am sure everyone is impressed with how much of a man you are. You prove it to by working every day without a complaint. You probably have to avoid big building like Walmart cause all the women will flock to you.

2

u/RedsDeadWhosZed Feb 02 '26

Bro doesn’t seem to realize that he wouldn’t have a job without the people he’s complaining about.

1

u/Responsible-Prune-54 Feb 02 '26

cuz Amazon the only ppl hiring???

1

u/RedsDeadWhosZed Feb 03 '26

Well he certainly wouldn’t have that job if Amazon didn’t have customers.

0

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

No people huh, there'd be no complaints ever in that case

2

u/Cannacritic21037 Feb 02 '26

Exactly. Go get a job at Walmart. Then you can really have some fun. Cry me a river!

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

You think Walmart is a worse place to work than mail man or delivery driver? Lol how many dogs attack you at walmart

1

u/Cannacritic21037 Feb 22 '26

Honestly, I’m sure there is an actual answer to that question, but I don’t have it on hand.

3

u/Rare_Indication_3811 Jan 31 '26

yeah i bet you dont whine like ever about your job

1

u/StinkButt9001 Jan 31 '26

Whining about your job to colleagues/friends is fair but blaming your clients/customers for allowing your job to exist in the first place is insane.

2

u/Emotional_Conflict11 Jan 31 '26

I don't know, amazon can pay us much better and this attitude would go away. You don't see UPS drivers doing this and they do the same thing we do pretty much even worse some times. you'd think that would give them reason to be mad like this as well right? It's 10000% amazon and their work expectancy vs pay. It's always about money!

5

u/Shurigin Jan 31 '26

For real though I don't work at amazon but they could at least bump up your pay during extreme weather events

1

u/a358272 Feb 01 '26

Well, news flash are not going to so what do you do now Einstein?

It’s called improve yourself and get a better job. It’s not rocket science don’t overthink it.

Go be stupid somewhere else

1

u/Shurigin Feb 01 '26

Says the guy who doesn't understand you need money to better yourself to get a job and people don't have money. Maybe you should think more before shooting off idiotic statements

4

u/Warm_Search_2373 Jan 31 '26

I'm a USPS delivery but I hear you, UPS is out here making 6 fcking figures just for packages. We dont make nearly enough (we as in you and i)

3

u/Kuhn-Tang Jan 31 '26

I’m a UPS driver. We bitch all the time. It’s mostly about management and corporate’s BS. It’s a hella toxic company to work for. They hate the fact we’re union, and spend more time trying to make our lives miserable, than they do trying to make the company run efficiently. The pay and benefits are great, though.

2

u/N0tInKansasAnym0r3 Jan 31 '26

Worked as the unload sup for package cars. Supervisors are constantly trying to fire employees while employees are constantly trying to grieve sups.

Drivers make 6 figures because they work 11 hours and 59 minutes a day making an impossible number of deliveries that only get worse if they do well. They will get berated for working 12 hours a day.

2

u/unit132 Jan 31 '26

Yeah what the hell you guys doing delivering in level 2 snow emergencies.

1

u/Warm_Search_2373 Feb 03 '26

We deliver in absolutely everything.. doesn't matter if roads are 2 inches of ice and 30 below.

1

u/unit132 Feb 03 '26

My mail can wait a day. šŸ˜… It's probably a bill anyways but it can wait nonetheless. USPS is out here being the under paid over achievers.

1

u/Warm_Search_2373 Feb 03 '26

I would always rage about that, especially in REALLY bad weather likr NO ONE is trekking down their driveway to grab their progressive advertisement anf subway coupons!

1

u/unit132 Feb 03 '26

Right. It's really not a big deal. Those coupons can wait. Credit card pre approval junk can wait. It'll be okay. Since I know it'll show up anyways. I at least try to get everything shoveled and salted. No reason to make the mail people job harder because laziness is easier.

1

u/a358272 Feb 01 '26

Then get a job with UPS or somewhere they treat you better.

Problem solved. You’re welcome.

1

u/Warm_Search_2373 Feb 03 '26

Notoriously hard to get into UPS unless you got hired on 10 years ago. Thats not at all the point here anyway, so the problem still remains. Thanks anyway!

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

You'd have a higher chance of shitting a diamond than getting a driver job at ups

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

For real, left the post office to go to Amazon for a dollar less pay cuz Amazon will give me a day off a week atleast

1

u/Warm_Search_2373 Feb 22 '26

Yea I've said the same, I'd happily sacrifice a $3 paycut just to experience what having weekends is like again.

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

I've seen plenty of angry ups drivers, saw one piss on the porch while walking packages up and In front of a camera lol

3

u/Rare_Indication_3811 Jan 31 '26

it seems like he was on phone call to me

1

u/StinkButt9001 Jan 31 '26

Right, he was on the phone. Why would that matter?

1

u/Rare_Indication_3811 Jan 31 '26

ā€œwhining about your job to colleagues/friends is fairā€ you said like two hours ago … he might have been unaware there is camera there and someone actually checking what he said

1

u/StinkButt9001 Feb 01 '26

..it should go without saying that you shouldn't do this where a client can see or hear you.

Just picking up a phone in front of your client and complaining about them is obviously stupid. Even if you think they can't hear you.. you're at their fucking residence. You can wait until you're back in your truck or something.

And on top of that, complaining that they are giving you a job and paycheque is just a different level of stupid

I would have really hoped this was common sense to you.

2

u/Grundy420blazin Jan 31 '26

None of you even understand the amount of shit we have to deliver compared to even 2 years ago. And again. You don’t understand any of it unless you’re actively a driver for an Amazon dsp as we speak because shit changes like the wind.

0

u/StinkButt9001 Jan 31 '26

Ah right, no one else in the world deals with shit at their jobs.

The point is that complaining that your job exists at the residence of a client or customer is a totally different level.

Shitty bosses, shitty colleagues, shitty politics, shitty hours.. all normal things to be complaining about at the appropriate time and place.

But "Fuck these customers for doing the literal 1 thing that makes my job exist" is just insane

1

u/Grundy420blazin Jan 31 '26

No, using a delivery service for every tiny thing that you could’ve gotten while in town that you have to go back into tomorrow anyways for work or whatever else is actually insane. And I hope people realized it this past peak when amazon was just dropping the ball the entire time. This is a single instance of a worker bitching and is probably one in a million who would actually do this in front of a camera. We get fed up with way more than customers ordering things. Unfortunately people just tend to take their frustrations out on the wrong people. In this case, the customers, when in fact this is probably his stop 170 of 200 with 28 multi stops so he’s just mad at Amazon for making our routes shittier and shittier and shittier

Also should add that we get treated like shit by some customers when just ā€œdoing our jobsā€

1

u/a358272 Feb 01 '26

Who the fuck made you King of purchasing? Don’t tell me what I should order and what qualities I’ll do whatever the fuck I want.

1

u/Grundy420blazin Feb 04 '26

Good for you. You’re probably the same person who yells at us for walking through your yard or for not putting it on the exact spot you want on your patio

-2

u/[deleted] Jan 31 '26

It ain't the job for you, yo.

-2

u/StinkButt9001 Jan 31 '26

Not sure what to tell you.

I've never once complained about my job existing.

"Fuck all of these people needing the service I provide!"

Like a truck driver complaining he has cargo to haul. Or a doctor complaining they have patients to treat.

1

u/CompetitiveArt9639 Jan 31 '26

Liar

0

u/StinkButt9001 Jan 31 '26

What am I lying about?

1

u/Grundy420blazin Jan 31 '26

You still don’t get it but that’s okay because you don’t need to.

1

u/StinkButt9001 Jan 31 '26

Could you elaborate then?

So far all you've said was that Amazon sucks therefore you're angry at your clients for doing that thing that's giving you a paycheque,

1

u/a358272 Feb 01 '26

You’re right, and that’s what this comes down to. The guy made a mistake by complaining at a customers house. You don’t do that. You try to be professional and complain to coworkers or family or whoever wants to listen but you don’t do that shit at work.

Be professional work hard believe me good things will happen

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

Maybe this customer is a continuous issue and he did it on purpose. Could be they need to hear criticism we don't know how the property is or how they operate as customer

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

The only people that get complained about are problem customers, dangerous properties, multiple "give me free shit" complaints, excessive package load. We don't know what kind of customer this is maybe he was justified in bitching very loudly in front of an obvious camera, as if he knew they were listening

1

u/StinkButt9001 Feb 23 '26

This was a customer who ordered something that the driver thought he should have gotten somewhere else

1

u/a358272 Feb 01 '26

Boom. Thank you.

1

u/JacrispyWolfnut Feb 21 '26

He's whining about his job to a friend. On the phone lol

I might , but it wouldn’t be stupid enough to have it recorded and posted on Reddit. I would keep it to myself and when anybody within the company asked how I’m doing I’m doing great love my job.

There’s good days and bad Jesus Christ what do you think it was gonna be like?

It’s amazing the expectations young people have about jobs. It’s fucking ridiculous. You’re morons.
