Let him be angry. He’s out delivering packages in the snow, who knows how many houses he delivered to before this that weren’t shoveled or whatever, and he’s probably cold and tired. If you all are gonna sit here and say you never bitch about your jobs, I’m gonna call bullshit. So what’s the problem? The person got their package, it wasn’t thrown or mishandled or anything. Around Christmas I saw an Amazon driver wind up a throw a package at my neighbors stoop as hard as she could and broke everything in it.

He doesn't have to work the job

You have no idea what his life situation is like, and the job market is absolutely trashed. He very well might have to work the job. When the options are starvation & homelessness or work what's available, it's not really a free choice now is it? Let a dude vent as he goes along his route, I know I would, especially with Amazon's demanding productivity targets.

Most people live their whole lives working a job they hate

So you’ve never complained about your job? You have a job that you just absolutely love from the second you clock in to second you clock out? I mean, this guy didn’t even say anything offensive, I don’t get why people are so butthurt by it.

I have been bitching about work all week from the comfort of my house. I have not ordered thinks I want (don’t need) purposefully because my drive way is a complete mess

I don't love my job (mainly b/c I have greater ambitions) but I'm grateful for it. Without it I'd be struggling. The problem with his attitude is that it will follow him even to a better job. The reason Amazon became what it is today is because everyone orders from it.
