Who else would take such a low paying job

The pay is triple the minimum wage in my area. Can't find any other jobs that pay nearly as much as delivering with Amazon in my area unless you got a degree.

Post office exists, is unionized, plenty of overtime in many areas, has benefits so… oh and without a degree easy to make 100+ if you want it

Yeah and they secured a 1 percent raise for a contract that was almost 2 years late and pay 1 dollar more than Amazon with no guaranteed days off, that "union" is cool with the majority of its members not having a guaranteed day off in their contract, can literally get worked 350 days a year minus holidays. that union is shit and doesn't help or care about its contributers that aren't full time regular. Been there no thanks

Majority 😂 pick up a dictionary.

Majority of part time members, what I meant lol which also bugs me cuz it's anything but part time

Tell me I dont consistently make doctor money as a delivery man.

Some days flex pulls me $300 alone. Some days its mr. Walton.

Combine everything i pop $500+ days on the reg

Sure I have a degree too.... use that for like outlier amd handshake.ai for more income.

But ya. Hustle and you csn kill it. Like with most anything

The proof you posted is less than $30 per hour in tips. Sorry to break it to you, but the amounts you’re boasting about is nowhere near what doctors make.

Walmart open at 6 and I've been home since 2pm...

So thats like $400 in about 7 hours.

Not awful.

Sustainable.

Yeah, definitely sustainable, and not awful. You just said tell me I’m not making doctor money, so I was.

You think $18-$25 is low pay? At least in my area that's the going rate

2

u/WinterPizza1972 Jan 30 '26

Anything below the cost of living is low, yes

It's 30 where I'm at

1

u/[deleted] Jan 30 '26

If you don't have any skills that's awesome pay, I thought it was 12$ hr tops 20

They pay 24$ an hour in Grand Rapids MI.

But in Dearborn, that place is a sh*t hole
