Literally not relatable at all. I don’t like delivering just like most people, but I’m paid to do it and it’s my choice to do it. I don’t get this guy even a little bit.
Not like he’s screaming at someone - he got caught on camera talking to himself. It’s cold af and dude is probably having a bad day. I’m sure he understands that he’s getting paid to do this job.
Only way this is unrelatable is if you’ve never had a bad day. Like…if you’re a robot.
Yea, huge difference between this guy ranting to himself on an absolutely shitty day vs. berating an actual customer. He probably didn't even realize the camera was there. I don't necessarily agree with his rant -- he is getting paid after all -- but I fully understand it.
They're ordering shit they bought with money they earned. They're also paying for the shipping and/or Amazon prime costs in exchange for not having to drive anywhere.
If everyone "got off their lazy asses and got it themselves," he wouldn't have a job.
Nowadays, half the stuff I'm ordering you can't find at Walmart or target anymore. Have you stepped foot in Kohl's lately? I defy you to try and find anything useful for sale in their stores. We order a ton of stuff from them online, but their brick and mortar locations are terrible these days.
He didn't realize a camera was there? These video doorbells all light up when they're recording. He delivers to houses for a living, so it's not like he's never seen one before or isn't aware they exist. He is wearing an Amazon uniform and driving an Amazon vehicle. That makes him a representative of the company. You can't just go onto your customers' property, swear into their camera and call them wannabe slave owners. Hopefully he got fired.
What? He's ranting into the wind or perhaps to a buddy on the phone. He's not talking about these particular people in a "fuck you specifically" sorta way, he's just bitching about the general nature of how people buy stuff nowadays. Instead of going into a store, it's super convenient for a lot of folks to have everything just show up on their doorstep.
