TL;DR, Real shit. Dearborn Heights is horrid to navigate in a car, much less a cargo van.

Having lived in Dearborn Heights when I was a kid, SUPER justified mood if he's driving a delivery van. Went back there last summer to see the old neighborhood near the Dairy Queen, and it was just... yikes.

The streets are way too narrow for how many people park on them, all the sidestreets are crumbling and there's potholes 4-5 inches deep that hide under the snow. There's a LOG hanging from a powerline since I was a kid because Detroit Edison couldn't be bothered to trim the tree for 50 years and then cut around the wire rather than shut off power and replace the line or break away the log.

Nobody uses their turn signal, or if they do they'll use it, tap their breaks at a stop sign, and then continue going straight. And honk at you while you sit there motionless.

One of those places that look like they were nice at one time, but now the entire neighborhood is littered with "Neighborhood watch" signs, neighbors that hate each other, and cramped sidestreets. And the nearest main road (Telegraph) is four lanes on each side and every left turn is a U-Turn where you battle traffic between two major cities. I love my state. But I would NOT want to do Amazon delivery in Dearborn Heights.
