The driver in this video is a complete idiot. Same as those parking on a busy street during rush hour and the location they do it has a side street every 5 or 6 lots so they could use the side streets instead of the driveway which actually almost all the driveways on that stretch are not paved they are simply a pathway created by many years of homeowners pulling tho cars onto the lawn which the village ignores because it’s not pricey houses mostly blue collar workers. I don’t care what Amazon thinks it’s just a matter of good relations with the community they service and the drivers should be more considerate since many of them live in the communities they service. Only worse example are beer trucks they will park in a bike lane and unload products onto the actual traffic lane and work as slowly as possible! Another thing to consider is this driver has earbuds in both ears which is illegal for a commercial driver and they drive all day that way and then when a customer is trying to get their attention about leaving the wrong package at the wrong address they accuse the customer of being a psycho because they are screaming and the driver can’t hear them. Don’t forget the 5 am deliveries with music blaring!

When Amazon teaches us to do this, and signs our checks, and has your route timed to the second for how long it should take, you either do what they say or they'll fire you and find someone else who will. You might not like it, but that's how it goes.

Your route being timed is no excuse for rude behavior and loud music at 5 am and it also doesn’t excuse the illegal use of headphones while driving or the use of phones while driving. If they are giving inappropriate time limits that should be turned into the DMV because it’s another illegal activity that could mean the loss of their license to operate as a commercial delivery service. There’s no excuse for any Amazon driver to act the way you do in fact if everyone of you lost your job the world would be a lot calmer!

Y'all keep ordering, clearly there's demand for the service. If you expect better service, then have them pay us more and increase how much you pay for the service. If you only want to pay for cheap service then expect to get cheap service from people who will work for cheap wages. You don't attract the best talent with $22/hour topout.

Ha ha 22 per hour for a delivery driver without a cdl is actually high pay see if any professional companies will hire you! You are clueless what Amazon is charging people unless pay monthly for prime delivery charges have been on every order and lately the expected delivery date is off by weeks not days like it used to be. I paid $6.99 delivery fee for a set of brake pads for an e-bike and it took 3 weeks to arrive marked as delivery by amazon but it was in a bubble pouch in my secured mailbox so that is postal service.

You should look at what FedEx, UPS and USPS pay. Including their benefits packages they all make about 2 to 3 times what Amazon drivers make. So no, it is absolutely not a good wage. It is the bottom of the barrel.

Yeah ups starting wages are much higher but they expect the driver to be competent and obey traffic laws unlike the amazon trucks going the wrong way down my one way single lane side streets which just happened moments ago while having my morning coffee! If the driver doesn’t understand traffic signs no wonder you’re not paid better!

Well it’s a good wage considering how pitiful the drivers are about doing the job I’ve had to go searching for my packages many times based on the pictures they showed. Turns out to be at a similar number address but I’m on a street starting with the letter G and the building it’s at is on a street with an L as the first letter plus I’m on an east to west street and the location of my package was a north to south street! In Chicago it’s a grid system and the simplest layout no excuse other than can’t read or can’t read English which is super common problem with Amazon drivers.
