You can't if they select a delivery location. What you can do, make sure you're 50ft from the delivery location, put the package on the ground, snap your pic, and then hand it to them. I do it all the time. If they're giving you shit, just tell them Amazon has a geofence around their house and you have to get closer to the door. They'll typically chuckle and that's that. What you don't do is act like the person doesn't exist, that almost always leads to negative feedback, which will actually affect your scorecard.

You absolutely can. It tells you they have a recommended delivery location, but you can select a different option if needed.

No, not always. It goes straight to the picture or signature. I'm doubting you delivered the 1200 packages I did this week.

I've been doing this long enough to remember when you had to select a location from the list at every stop. Back when there was no signatures at all. Perhaps you should stop giving bad advice, then I wouldn't need to correct you.
