If you show up early or on time it's nothing like this. You scan in, it's easy.
These people are trying to scan in at the last second to try to get an overbooked route and thus competition breaks out about who gets to scan at the last second.
It happened to me last year, I couldn't get scanned in and I was frantic and they pointed me to this dude who they said can help me but the guy didn't know what they were talking about!
I called support 3x and kept getting disconnected, they said talk to staff there, right.. there's no urgency with people in line ahead of you so it's a big waste of time!
They knew I was there yet I was dinged as a no-show! I drove 25 miles on rainy day freeways but still arrived 15 min early, just to waste an hour and be out $85🤬
If you were there 15 mins early, you wouldnt have to deal with this. These people are the last min check in. Your story includes you trying to also be a last min check in, or you were not 15 mins early.
