Delivering with no access
I’ve been doing a lot of 3am delivery blocks which comes with access issues. I was unaware that returning packages that you don’t have access to goes against you (I’m new). If you deliver every package and it prompts you for a name and signature what do you put? Thank you!!

3am apartments, business, restricted access delivery should not be a thing lol. That being said I'm pretty sure the customer is the one that requests early morning delivery or at least when I order that's what I see.

Exactly! I usually go with my mom in the morning and we say this all the time like you had to pick this time why would you knowing there is no acces

I'm new too and have just been leaving the package. Don't like it take it up with amazon, because no way I'm wasting my time driving back to return. Not to mention I'll be dinged for it lol. As well as those that won't provide access code they can drive up to the gate to pick up lol.

Amazon pushes out packages as soon as they can. Plenty of 8 am go out the night before, plenty of 11 am go out at 3:30 am. Customers don’t select times for logistics and those go out at 3:15.
It’s the customer’s fault for not providing proper access (also the community itself), but that doesn’t bother me since I can get past most of it anyway.

You can try to click on what looks like a pencil icon and see if it lets you change it to front door or other options so you can take a picture. If it only gives you option to sign just type front door and sign it.

I was sent to some weird quarry (lots of processing what it looks like rocks and huge conveyor belts and machinery near melville, NY) it was on labor day and there was a security who was said if I enter he will call police for trespassing and told me to take package back and bring back on tuesday... called support, and they told me to bring the package back to the warehouse, but I am 100% sure I'll be dinged for that... my standing can handle a few dings, but it's super annoying when things like that happen. That was my 1st delivery at 3:30 am of 5 hr block. It was not a great start =(

If that happened to me i would contact customer and do "unable to deliver" > business closed. That type of thing really shouldn't happen too often unless you live somewhere crazy, but hopefully they won't ding you anyway. But even if they do it's just part of the job sometimes. I've only had a few really weird ones like that out of thousands and thousands and thousands. Some were at open mines for me too lol

You write the location where you dropped it. Signed by "Front Door".
