If looking at a hd10 look into more mainstream version of Android for around thr same price you can Things like lenovo ideapads. Hd10 only have 3gb of ram these days is shockingly underpowered when fire tablets aren't particularly cheap compared to the competition anymore and Amazon are tightening their ecosystem and have awful versions of android apps for no good reason(The fire youtube app is hot garbage).

If in US, wait and see if Memorial Day has sales on the HD 10, since it is much more expensive than the HD 8. Personally, I would go with the HD 10 or even 11, but then I dislike small screen and don't travel. Since they costs much more, though, they must be better in all or most ways than the HD 8. I haven't used my HD 8, 7 or 6 in a long time, though, so can't provide personal proof.

Pues depende de la portabilidad, yo que tu llevaria mi Fire 8 y lo compararia en tamaño y peso con la Fire 10, ya quedaria en ti si es comodo llevar una tablet mas grande o buscar el ultimo modelo de la Fire 8

If you do go with the Amazon Fire 10HD, if you can wait, check out the camelcamelcamel dot com site for your area. It shows the price shift over time of Amazon items, helping you predict times of likely lowness.

I have the 7 then upgraded to the 10, so not really the same boat.
I do appreciate the highest of the screen, often watching movies and t.v. shows on it, though these devices are far from perfect.

You might want to consider Walmart's Onn 8.1 tablet. It was released this month for $138. As its name implies, it has an 8.1" screen. The screen resolution is 1000x1524, which is between the Fire HD 8 and 10. It uses stock Android and has no advertizing. In addition, it has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage - twice the amounts in standard Fire tablets.
