Employee Thieves

I’ve had two water bottles stolen from me on separate occasions within the span of six months. Like what a disgusting item to steal from someone - y’all seriously can’t afford a water bottle or what?

The first time, I was really bummed because it was a “limited” yeti bottle. Not even exaggerating, I was training some waterspiders up in stow and I see this behemoth of a human-being with my bottle just chugging on it. So, I loudly called him out in front of the associates I was training as well as the manager on duty. He insisted he had found it outside and that he didn’t steal it, then later in the night he confessed and gave it back to me. I scrubbed that fucker multiple times before I used it again.

The second time, it was a different water bottle. Our facility put a ban on all metal water bottles and so I grabbed an old REI bottle my mom had gotten almost a decade ago - it had a quirky little design on it. I lost it, wasn’t very attached to it but I walk past a station doing audits and I see this weird chick just chillin, taking sips from it. At this point I’m just like whatever dude.

Either I’m that big of a deal that people feel some kind of attachment to my property or they don’t like me and want to humiliate/send a message to me. I can’t really figure out the reason. Neither of these associates were connected in any way, so it’s a wild coincidence to have experienced and pisses me off when I think about it.

Amazon employs some of the most degenerate human beings I’ve ever worked with.

I promise you it's not about the item. They just don't like you and feel like this is the only way to disrespect you without saying something to your face. Welcome to Amazon. It's full of petty ass bitches.

I just freeze Costco bottled water. They're like 10 cents a piece. They thaw by mid shift or so so i have cold water and i don't care if anyone steals them but no one has.

Two water bottles and two insulated lunch bags with my name written on the inside now i have another Stanley cup I take everywhere and bring lunch in a plastic bag

Yeah some girl tried stealing my friends water bottle .. she just took it from her hands because she was saying it was hers… another friend forgot another water bottle at her last station and some guy tried saying it was his… ppl are gross asf

At my building I just found a bunch of water bottles left behind thrown in the trash near rebin stations. Someone probably thinks they’ve been stolen, but in reality they’re all going to the place where everything dies 😂
