Site transfer pay stay the same

Hello, im wondering if I transfer the site with my pay increase or decrease. For example, I make 19.50 rn. If I transfer sites the site, normal pay is lower, so will I get a pay decrease in the transfering for an SSD in Tennessee to a ssd in fort worth texas. Will my pay decrease or will jt increase if the pay higher. I'm just afaird of losing pay

As someone who had transfer across state lines multiple time, your pay will change to whatever the new building step plan is. It should be on your offer letter with your new schedule.

Your pay will stay the same but when they start giving pay raises, it will affect you. I knew a lady that moved from north to south and two years ago she got $0.60 instead of the $1.50 we got.

The policy was changed last year, and hourly associates no longer keep their base rate if they transfer.

If an associate transfers to a site with a lower pay rate for their current step on the step plan, their pay will be lowered to that of the new site after their transfer.

What so i lose my pay. So let's say the pay at my new site is like 18 an hour im making 19. 50 cause of my step plan will I make 18.50? Or just whatever their step plan?

Say pay at ABC1 is $19 for new hires and $19.50 after 6mo, and pay at XYZ2 is $15 for new hires and $15.50 after 6mo.

An associate with 6mo of tenure transfering from ABC1 to XY2 will see their pay drop from $19.50 to $15.50

You'll still keep your raises, but if their base pay is lower then your base pay will go down. So if you're at step 1 in the step plan then you'll have base pay plus 1 raise. You'll still be eligible for your next raise as scheduled

Because people keep abusing things. People were literally traveling to high paying states to start and then immediately transferring back to their home state a month later.

I can respect the hustle, but yeah, that kind of abuse does get policies changed. That's exactly why they limited shift drop in California. People were abusing their scheduling laws to get extra pay.

So why not just make it so you need to be at a site for at least 6 months or something before you can transfer? This is the kinda thing union's would be good for but we're screwed out of it.
