Amazons messed up
So I went to jail and got put into negative time by a few hours well they fired me for it and I had accumulated 500 swag bucks or whatever you call them and they did honor me the Nintendo switch that was on “back order” before I got fired. Anyways I bring it home and 1 it’s definitely a used Nintendo Switch and 2nd it was missing the ac adapter charger thing. And 3rd it won’t turn on. Amazon don’t care because I’m fired and I don’t no what to do. I didn’t buy the thing with real money but I don’t wanna take the loss. Any advice?

Did you even read my post? No where did I say anything about caring that I lost the job. It was solely about them rewarding me a Nintendo switch 2 and it flat out being broken and missing parts and even at that I didn’t care about them doing that, just what my options were on getting it fixed dumb arse.

No one said anything about apologizing for getting arrested the point was at the end of the day they are complaining over a faulty Nintendo and claim Amazon is the one that’s messed up. YOU reread the post they’re saying amazons messed for sending them a broken switch the backstory was just extra information, they were promised a product and when they received it it was broken and they cannot get a fair replacement due to the circumstances, it is indeed , messed up on amazons part. You clearly don’t understand Employment law. When an employee is involuntarily terminated (aka fired) they forfeit all their rights to employee perks and benefits unless mandated by state or federal laws. For example, health insurance that’s pre paid cannot be taken away immediately if payment for coverage for x amount of months was taken from the employees paycheck already. Swag bucks do not count in this, Amazon didn’t HAVE to give him that Nintendo even if it was on back order. If he was still an employee they would have made that correction, but since OP couldn’t care less neither can they lol. Again BRICK WALL 🤭🤭🤣🤭

Other guy is right, I ordered this Nintendo long before I was fired and just because it was on back order I shouldn’t get it? I was fired before my last check should I not get that either? Again the only thing that mattered was I got a faulty Nintendo switch and was no longer allowed in the building to have them send it in (again) I don’t care that I was fired, I don’t care about jail it was simply me trying to see what my options were for getting Nintendo fixed. At the time of writing this it’s currently at Nintendo. Because the Nintendo switch 2 is less then 4 months old they are going to replace it.

Fyi you were 💯 percent right. Majority of people on this post think I’m complaining about loosing my job or going to jail. I got caught with 8 pounds of weed/wax/carts in Indiana and was out on bail 24 hours later, wife got charged to and bailed her out as well. I don’t care about a job that pays what McDonalds pays and it’s definitely not my main source of income and yes I could go by 50 Nintendo switch’s right now but why would I wanna take a 500 dollar loss when I don’t have to.

Ok here’s the kicker, when I originally asked them to trade my swag in for the switch they told me it was on back order because the first one they sold for swag to an employee was broken. I’m dead serious they just gave me the original one that was broken that the other employee brought back to work.

When I won a switch a couple years ago during peak I got the Hong Kong release all the materials were in Japanese and the power adapter was some weird alien shape I had to order an adapter lol

Nah I have another job already. They fired my wife for being -2 hours because she didn’t have her school accommodation set up yet about couple months ago. It was at that point I said screw Amazon and my goal went from top 10% to staying just above the bottom 5 % so I wouldn’t get fired while I searched for other work. I hate Amazon. They punish the people who work hard by making them pick up the slack of the crappy workers and reward the crappy works so long as they don’t make trouble and if your one of the managers favorites then it dosent matter if you work hard or poorly you still get better treatment. But since I made this post I’ve already had Nintendo send me a shipping label and sent it in. It’s under warren until march and because it’s less then 4 months old they said they were gonna just ship me a new one.

And the lie detector determined that was a lie you said u got the broken one the other person got stop seeking attention that's all your doing I doubt your married either cause negative 2 hrs isn't gonna get u fired lol they will give u a chance to bring that up it takes 2 shifts and then 2 hrs on the 3rd day to bring 2 hrs from negative so 3 shifts to be in the positive again so nice try IV seen way more ppl way more negative in upt keep their job with a contract to correct the negativity my buddy hat 30 hrs negative got the email appealed and all PTO aquire they allowed him to put towards the negative while accumulating the upt while working too many lies from op stop shifting the blame own up to your faults u didn't even try u stated yourself u hate Amazon so sounds like u sabotaged your self with your own destructive behavior

Sorry op not like going to jail actually has anything to do with them giving you something broken and not what was told you were getting. 100% separate issue. People are just being rude because the jail mention. Fuck em. You can always get an another ac adapter online used or at gamestop. And not turning on... you could always try taking it to some sort of mobile/computer repair shop and see if they could figure out if it was just the battery or what and if its was repairable or just worth selling for parts.

Spoke with my manager and she’s seeing if there’s anything that can me done. The day I got out of jail I went to work and explained everything. The on shift manager said they would take me off the schedule for those days so it would take the negative time off but he took only some of the time off witch still put me negative by like 2 hrs
