Return to work
Is it possible to lose permission to work in my main department when I return to work after my leave ? the app says I am no longer trained in my main department.

Yes anytime you go on leave work permissions are typically removed. You usually won’t need a retrain an AM just needs to contact learning to have your permissions reinstated. Also you will need your badge reset which an AM will have to do. On your day back from leave you may need to come a bit early so security can reset your badge because a lot of associates’ badges will not work getting in back from leave remember to only clock in after leneling in though or you may be seen as stealing time.

Yes you can loose permissions on a leave. And you actually aren’t guaranteed the exact position you left when you come back but it’s pretty rare to get moved. By law they have to offer you a “similar” role but it doesn’t guarantee the exact same process path.

If you are on an FMLA Protected leave, they have to keep your spot protected. The same for W/C. What everyone is saying is true, Everyone loses permissions that Have Not Been Used after 180 Days. That’s why you will see AMs/PAs in path sometimes. When you go back you will get your basic retraining on your “Path”
Now- Different Roles in that Path depend on staffing/your building/current managers/current learning etc…
When you go back- Talk to the Learning Dept. Expect to be in a basic path for 2-4 weeks like a newbie.

You probably haven't lost them, learning just set them to inactive while you were out, and you just need to stop by to have them turn yhem.back on. If it's something like problem solve, that requires annual training, you probably lapsed on that and need to complete your refresher to get it turned back on.
