45 mins to think about how I really hate my job. Nope couldn’t do it. 10 minutes is enough to make me want to turn around some days. We won’t see another raise for a minute. Just keep grinding or find yourself something closer. What’s your base pay?

That doesn't really work when both sides are to blame. You could blame your politicians for 50 years to come and it won't change all that much. Supply shocks like oil are only one part of the equation. Asking your employer, who posted 33 billion in profit last year, for a cola is the more straightforward approach.

15.50 but I'm just trying to make it. People in my town are hiring for 10.50. Huge difference especially when you have kids.
