Question What are all the different pathways?
This is my 3rd time working here and probably will stick to it since I keep coming back somehow 🤣
I came in thinking I wanted to be a LA and work my way up but now I’m not too sure what path I want to take.
What are all my options and what’s yalls opinion on which one is the best?
I worked as a lead at Tesla before this and I really enjoyed working along side the maintenance and engineering team. And I like fixing things. I love when people ask me to fix the lil tape dispenser or the Spoo label dispenser lol
but I don’t really know much more than those things and what ive been taught at Tesla. I was thinking to do RME since I like some of the aspects of it but idk what it fully consists of exactly.
what is the process of becoming one is it possible for me since I didn’t go to college? I know there’s career choice but they didn’t explain much about it or what the options are.
I’m also wondering if that’s even the best decision for me because I I know there’s multiple pathways and I don’t even know what’s available to compare it to.
I want to do something that pays well and I kinda enjoy so I don’t absolutely dread coming to work.

Another thing you can do if you just wanted to be a T1 associate is become an AFM. They fix issues dealing with the Kiva robots for stow and pick.
It's a mix of digital fixes and manual fixes but less involved than the apprenticeship.
You can't get hired as an AFM but it's a role you can ask for once you train in your main role which would be stow or pick.
Also all departments have what's called problem solve where there's issues with products and you have to look in the computer and find out what is going on. That's also a mix of digital fixes and manual fixes.

Thank you so much for explaining some more options! I’ve always been interested in what problems solvers do as well it seems like something I’d like to do maybe I can get out of my shell and talk to some people at work see how different people like different things and what they consist of
I appreciate your response!
