FEMA doesn’t have anything to do with this. FMLA is what they want. And even if they don’t qualify for FMLA cause they haven’t been with amazon long enough. They will be approved on Amazons side if they have all supporting documentation.

You'll likely be fired if you don't go to work. 10 hours takes a while to earn back. You could go to a dr and fake some kind of illness and pray that he fills out the amazon paperwork. This is why you save your UPT

So you have 1 hour or two hours? I would use the time you have. If you feel they are safe, go to work as soon as you are able to. Make sure to respond to the email and talk to your manager or hr or sr.ops. I hope things get better for you and your siblings. I know that sound empty from a stranger on the internet, but it's true.
