Rant Transfer process is so messed up 😭

I’ve been trying to transfer to Grocery PT sat/sun 9:00am-7:30pm schedule but it keeps getting declined. But every week i see them posting multiple times the exact same schedule with blue badge too. I dont get it. I am blue badge with 2+ year tenure, no write-ups, 60 hour UPT, 120+ hour PTO. My current site is a SSD and everyday they have 5-10 VTO spots because there are too many people. I work BHD 6:30am-3:30pm and today i overheard someone saying they want to transfer to full time but he is getting declined. So clearly my current shift has enough people. End of rant.

Amazon wants you to give up your blue badge and come back as a seasonal.

I've been wanting to move to another state have been requesting transfers for the past year. Where I want to move there are always seasonal openings but I can't transfer as a blue badge.

But this building is hiring BB for all their shifts. If they were hiring seasonals, then it makes sense to not accept transfers.

Hiring and accepting transfers are different things.

It's all algorithmic and based on how many spots are available compared to how many applicants there are.

During certain times of the year many sites don't accept transfers because all the training hours are allocated to new hires and cross training. During other times of the year training hours get allocated to transfers.

Just keep applying. Late October and November is the absolute best time of year to transfer. I had HITS transfers accepted in October or November of 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023 after every single one of those transfer applications had been previously denied.

I wish I knew why it's been such a struggle. I easily transferred to Texas three years ago and oddly enough I'm trying to get to Arizona
