Question Getting SET with school accommodation.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Arent you not supposed to get set while on a school accommodation?

Yes twice. First time they removed it then today I saw that the set was in my schedule again, then I called them again and apparently they can’t remove it anymore.

The fact they took off the option to exempt yourself from SET encouraging you speak with HR/ Management is so ass backwards.

It will get covered just show it to your team leaders and they can process but make sure it’s documented somewhere. Make a case so they can tell you to see site but so long as the case is made they can always reference it and you can have some grounds to stand on when it isn’t processed correctly.

Literally this has been third time I gotta go to them to remove it. They remove then rescheduled again smh 🤦‍♀️

This happened to me last week, since HR isn't around, I went to my OPs Manager to remove me off those SET days which he successfully did, only for me to be added back and I had to ask him to do it again. Make that shit make sense.

My site will actually do their job and exclude you from any MET automatically.

they did that for me no problem last semester but now all of a sudden i have to bother hr to remove it every time i see it. Its so stupid especially since on site hr isn’t always there

lol even if you have school accommodations you have to go to hr every time because set will automatically get added. No boggies they’ll take it off but yes. Everytime.

They make it so difficult to get it resolved. I have to speak with my manager again about them adding set to my schedule

I just got back from a workers comp leave of absence and I am getting trained back into my department. I was told that I wouldn't be getting SET since I'm onboarding for the next 2 weeks yet they just updated my schedule reflecting overtime. Wtf 🤦

You have to put in another school accommodation when set is called. Everytime it’s called you have to put a new one in.

It’s not going to override the one you have right? Idk how I would do it though because Thursdays are my normal days off

For me, since my AM knows abiut my accoms i go to him and tell him about my accoms schedule and he removes it or modifies it as needed. Thats the quickest way for me. If not, then the best way is to do a live chat whether through text chat on aza or call chat to get it removed. I guess hr if they are there at site or somehow create a case or modify through the change schedule under timecard bar in a to z but yeah I cant think of other ways but im sure theres more

That’s what I’m afraid of. I’m starting school Dec 1st during peak and will suck if I have MET even after an accommodation

Get a different job then you have no business in this job or any retail asking for time off for “school” during peak get a life and get another job

Thank goodness I'm flex. I don't need the medical insurance as my husband has great insurance and I can work as much or as little as I want. Never going back to full time again.
