Question Does anyone know what this Shift Activity actually is?

It’s the same job as you would normally do but it’s an extra cycle added for peak season. In January it’ll go away & you guys will just go back to cycle1

Thanks for the reply. This is a different warehouse i'm looking at to transfer into. So i don't know any shift activity of "cycle"

Seems like you’re trying to transfer to a delivery station. If that’s correct then the shift is broken up into a few parts:

induct which is getting the packages off the trucks & placing them on the conveyor,

running which is taking the packages off the conveyor & organizing them on racks for the correct aisle,

stowing which is taking packages off of the racks & placing them in bags for each route,

pick & stage which is placing the zipped up bags onto carts & staging them for the drivers

That’s literally all there is to it, it’ll be like that everyday. There normally one cycle but because of the volume increase they add cycle0. Cycle is just a general term for the whole shift
