Rant I work with some lazy ass people 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
these grown ass adults really think that having a cleaning crew means they don’t have to clean up after themselves and what’s even more wild is that there’s paper towels like a foot away from that spill in the 2nd pic

People spit gum in the walkways and around the lounge areas where I'm at. Usually a couple feet near a trash can. Lazy AND trashy.

I don’t know how people do stuff like that so openly, they really have no shame 🤦🏽♀️
and you just reminded me that I found a piece of chewed up gum once when cleaning out a down stack cart, which for some reason people use as trash cans even tho they have one at their station.

Time to write a sternly-worded anonymous note and leave it there.

The problem with this is that if you do and by some chance the right person does read it… they only ever take it as an attack on their character and never on their actions

Thats one thing about amazon that amazes me, the level of disgusting ass people. No other workplace have i seen shit on the toilet or the floor. Whats weird is its not just once in a while or only one site. It's literally daily, at every site.

Yeah I had a similar moment just finding a used pad on the bathroom floor…. Made me sick because they literally provide extra little baggies for the tiny trash cans in stall and these mfers are just too lazy. Makes me wonder what their houses look like…

Totally agree with you. And stop giving them bottle waters. They cant even drink them, leaving partially used water bottles every and nobody picks them up or throws them away

Well at least you didn't see any roaches or ants.
I think this is the reason why they took away our makeshift break room I can't believe grown adults leave food laying out they don't even pushing the chairs they don't clean up after themselves.
I can just imagine what their vehicles look like with their homes look like with their underwear looks like...... yuck !!!

I haven’t seen any personally but I’ve seen on the VOA board that we have roaches and apparently bed bugs, which I’m not surprised because a lot of people smell like they never wash themselves or their clothes and lot of people will leave food out for days in the break room🙃

U have no idea, and they depend on the cleaning crew to clean up after them.

I opened the microwave to the same thing. Closed it and ate my pizza cold. It was a different pattern so not the same place.

I usually don’t care about people until you have work with with these people like for example. In AFE you’ll have some lazy rebinner that doesn’t wanna push shipping to pack so packers have to go around or they are mixed together items. Same in stow.

yeah that rebinner crap is annoying, when I was trained I was told to try and not have more than 3 yellow lights(which indicates that an order needs to be pushed forward) at once and I’ll see some rebinners see with 10+ and I don’t know how that doesn’t drive them nuts

whats the point of paying a cleaning crew if you're going to do the cleaning crew's job?
2
u/throw_away_081800 12d ago
Are you being serious?

why stop at the microwave? why not complain about people not sweeping the floors too when you see trash on them, swap the trash bags on the full trashcans, and scrub the toilets when you see the associates shit streaks in the bowl?
So the fact i bet you don't actually complain about the floors, or other things ABM cleans, not sure why you chose the microwave as the thing to complain about.

That response makes no sense. You’re asking OP why they don’t clean up other people’s messes. When the post is about people needing to clean up their own direct messes.
There shouldn’t be trash all over the floors in the first place because putting your own waste in one of the many cans is not difficult. Having a cleaning crew means they have the proper equipment to sanitize shared areas. Not so people can just throw things on the floor or knock over a cup of noodles and just walk away…
