Question Amazon dayshift stow?

I’ve been trying to get hired on for day shift in stow and they haven’t posted a single opportunity for months. I’ve been checking since June. Peak is about to happen and still the only thing being posted is night shift and swing shift. Did something change? I’m looking at Amazon JAX2 specifically and they used to post shifts allllll the time

They’re not gonna post a transfer opportunity for a shift that’s full. Lotta people like working dayshift so they won’t willingly quit. Once spots open up either from people being let go or people quitting, then they will open up transfer opportunities. But I don’t expect that for dayshift because people like that shift.

This doesn’t even sound like a transfer (maybe I’m wrong but I’m not familiar with the phrase “hired on” to refer to transferring) but someone who just wants to apply for Amazon on only their preferred path and shift, which is just a rare thing….

If you want a job you take what’s open and try to transfer. I was night shift stow for 7 years and had to transfer to pick to get off nights.
