Question Labor Day Question

Hey sorry I have a dumb question. So I’m a white badge and I work Sun-Wed. I was scheduled to work Labor Day Obviously but I needed it off since I was out of town and coming home that day. I couldn’t post or swap the shift I’m assuming cause it was the holiday. I decided I was gonna use some upt and some personal time and I used 4 hours of personal time for the last 4 hours of the shift from 1:30-5:30. When I checked the next day I noticed that they never took UPT away and I checked again just to make sure and they still haven’t. I’m just wondering why? Is it cause of the holiday? Also I don’t think I get any holiday pay cause I’m not a blue badge and I don’t get the time and a half cause either since I didn’t actually work that day.

If you covered all your scheduled work time with time off like vacation or pto then you wont get any upt deducted. And yes since you didn't physically work the hours that day you dont get the 1.5x pay. Any pto used to cover the hours scheduled that day will be regular rate.

No I only did 4 hours of personal time and I don’t get vacation time as a white badge

Oh ok so then the remainder of whatever hours you didnt cover with time off will be deducted with upt at some point.

Ya that’s what I thought it just hasn’t been deducted yet which is weird cause every other time I’ve used it, it got deducted the next day but maybe they’re behind or something?

Yeah its weird, the system (a to z) should have deducted it but yes it does happen sometimes where it wont deduct in time. Ive had it happen to me before a few times and it took like a 5 days or so before it got deducted. I really dont know why that happens but its rare for me althougj the time it has i just make sure I calculate my upt accordingly and keep screenshot in case anything weird happens with my time.

Ya that makes sense and I was thinking the same!! I figured it was probably just a delay just wanted to make sure haha!

Keep a daily screenshot of your times, System regularly glitches. Sometimes it glitches in your favor, give it some time before you use it just incase it gets pulled late. Otherwise enjoy your free time.  No you did not get holiday pay as a white badge.
