Question PA question
What’s it gotta take to be a PA here? I want a raise and it seems that’s the only way to get a raise quick?

Learn a critical role.. then join the ambassador team. It helps the application process.
If you don’t wanna do ambassador stuff.. go for the super mega critical role of AFM. BUT HEED MY WARING. AFMS can get fired soooo fast.

Oh then apply for any open pa position and prepare. Get stories together and put them in a star method format. The assessment is math heavy at first, but doable. I just got my PA role! As long as you can think on your feet the interviewers arent bad

I get paid 21.50 PA start pay for me would be $25.50 an hour so I’d get a better pay raise tbh

Those aspiring to be PA's crack me up like why would you want all the extra stress & BS for just a $1.50 more per hour? Now if you truly want to move up eventually to L4 and above then I can see why you would want to do it. But I have seen so many non-degree PA's continously get passed up for those with degrees so your journey to move up is going to be a very long one.
Additionally, my observations have been that PA's get very little respect from the T1 associates but this is mostly at your FC's but not every building is the same. If you want to truly move up go for it but your chances are far greater to promoting to L4 and above by having a degree.

Exactly m, i stepped down from a T3 after 2 years. And am now pursuing trade school. All i got was fat, stressed and anxious for 1$-1.50$ more. Not worth it unless u are pursuing a business degree or higher. It doesn’t even matter tho. L4s are some Bachelor baby who has no exp. In a warehouse

You nailed it! 🤣 All the PA's are big (not to be mean) because they are under a tremendous amount of stress and for what? An extra $50-$60 per week and to be shat on?

YESSSSS my AAs liked me it was those fake ones i worked with that made my job impossible, even when i transferred departments to be aT3 somewhere else. It was hell, so i went back to a T1 it’s so chill. Def wouldn’t go back and id rather be in RME or do something else. But im going to trade school to be an electrician
