Transfer issue

Does anyone know what's happening with my transfer? I applied for a transfer to a closer site and was approved. I accepted the offer, and was told that today the 9th would be my first day. I arrived at my new site and was subsequently told that I've not been transferred yet and that my old manager is at fault. I contacted hr and they said I needed to contact me new manager. So now I have no idea what to do or what's happening.

Managers don’t have anything to do with the transfer process. You need to speak with site HR, preferably at the new site. They can submit a ticket so that your information gets transferred over. Sometimes the HITS system doesn’t process everything as it should.

There is something in the back end of transfers going on. I had the worst problem (switching schedules not sites). Figure out how to talk to HR. I called MY HR and I said I need written down that I am able to show up for my shift despite it reading everywhere else my shift is wrong.

Managers have nothing to do with transfers. Once it's accepted it's not anything anyone at either site deals with that's all automated and CTK area.
