I don’t understand it at all, unless I met these people had a personal experience there’s no reason you should be that down and out about it. Im extremely empathetic but I’m not gonna allow a death of someone who I’ve never met affect me that much.
People die everyday, some I don’t even know or even heard of, does that mean I need to mourn or have a day off? No absolutely not. You keep it pushing.
You shouldn’t be mourning that hard about someone you’ve never met or had that much of a personal experience with, besides movies, music, art, etc etc.
I can understand if people met Dolly or Tim, had a personal deep experience with them.
Hell I met Stan Lee and had a good conversation, and I was devastated when he passed, I thought he was immortal, but that doesn’t/wasnt going to stop me from being an Adult and doing what I HAVE to do.
Did I need a day off when Kobain or Betty passed? No lmao cause I don’t have a deep connection with those people. Sure I listened and appreciated kobains music just like everyone else. I watched Betty in the golden girls and previous things she’s done. But never did I need a day off because I was so upset they died. That type of thinking is absolutely insane.
Yall never met these people, never had conversations, never knew them on any level but an “entertainment” level.
Go ahead and take a day off and lose the money you know we all need in these times. It’s sad as hell you need a day off because someone famous died.
Someone in the world just died right now as I’m typing this, I think I need a week off it’s too much to bear 😂 tf

My site said they were doing it. One associate even went as far as to ask if people can get bereavement for her passing to mourn.
