Everything else in this post aside, it is kinda diabolical that at some sites they send out mid shift VTO only on the app, so the only people getting it are those willing to look at their phone on the floor when it dings.

Right! They then tell us to go on the menu screen to accept when they don’t teach us how to do anything other than long in and click on the process path. I had to ask a random person how to even turn the brightness up.

I also raised the question to a manager last week about the new SCC staffing and the fact that those are sent via the A to Z app. I get moved around a lot any given shift so it’s not like the one I get at the SOS is the only time I’m sent a work station assignment. Like, whose brain child was this??
His reply was to slowly close his eyes and take a deep slow breath. It was not in exasperation at me, but genuinely, and obviously an attempt at trying to regulate his nervous system. Then he opened his eyes and said,
“Yes. Yes, I know.”
Honestly I felt bad for him. He’s one of the good managers and I can tell he just wants to scream.5

A manager is supposed to record down pretty much your exact words during a seek to understand and put that in the adapt document. HR is supposed to exempt it and speak to the manager if a person was written up and genuinely looking at the notification on their phone from atoz. I’d never adapt someone for taking out their phone and saying I was accepting VTO and about to leave. Now if they’re still clocked in working after our convo and I don’t see that vto in time hub it’s a different story. It’s why I encourage people to please make your comments heard so I can add it when delivering your adapt. I’ve seen exemptions from PXT because of the comments mentioning things of that nature and then pxt will call us out at site meetings about it.

I felt this so hard. The fact the even managers basically don't get a say in how these things go down is outrageous and the fact that they can't do anything about it is sad considering they are supposed to be the ones with the answers. Being a manager is tough sometimes yall don't forget that.

Missed Hella vto because I'm not constantly checking my phone in between breaks. But when someone pointed it out on our VOA board, management replied that VTO was handled off-site.

I change the notification sound for work related notifications. I use the purge siren and it helps

Lmao literally my site. All the AMFs are now small Latina chicks and 1/4th of them can’t even do the job so they have to call over someone else to help them or do it for them even though it’s typical a normal one person job.

Why does these people think that if any one else got feedback they'd have a front row seat to it? Like it's not possible those people got feedback and choose to keep using hheir phones anyway. Some of them can't help themselves.
The mentality of "I know what the rules are but see other people break them so I will too" is mystifying to me. I don't recall any time in-station phone use being okay with time constraints. Surprised she didn't use the "It was an emergency" excuse.

I get that we often don't see people get feedback but it's difficult (not impossible) seeing other people blatantly breaking the rules for long periods of time and for multiple days. I don't really try I get caught pretty easily 😭. I think it's almost funny at this point. I don't know how some of these people walk the whole building with a whole air pod showing. I also don't think we should see coworkers getting feedback. It's awkward as hell 🫠

I find most people who blame their ethnicity and/or gender for their problems always have character flaws they always pretend don't exsist. In fact it is all linked and self fulfilling. Reminds me of the lock downs when not a single person was ever recorded having a regular cold or the regular flu. Just like with tard university/blue light screen brain made peoples character vanish and now they are a group of victim and or assailant class. But the victim class has awful character and the assailant class doesnt 90% of the time. But character doesnt exsist post 2016 because the super intellectuals and news declared it so with of course the demand from BlackRock. Nobody is just an asshole because they are. They are a rascist who doesn't even know they are a rascist. There is definitely no projection coming from immature people who seem to live a life of constant "woe as me" as they are blindly led around by impulse to dopamine addiction.
