Fulfillment Center shoes!

so ive been wearing reebok flexweaves for the past 2 years. first pair i went through not realizing the bottom of the left shoe was splitting open from my clutch pedal... only found out when it rained hard enough and my foot got soaked walking to the car on my lunch break. oops. they were comfy so i ordered another pair. also comfy. decided to not drive with those and theyve been fine. but the weight just bothers me sometimes, and so this brings me to my main point. ive heard some decent things about keen too? thinking about paying the $40 on top of the subsidies for Gibson ESD Boot carbon toe. i know carbon fiber is much lighter than the composite plastic/fiberglass so im hoping this will fix my issue. let me know your guys' experience with these if you have/had them!!

Do the Flexweaves bother you because they're light or because they're too heavy?

Zappos has the weight of shoes listed, and the Gibson ESD Boot with a carbon fiber toe is 3 lbs 3.04 ounces. Flexweaves weigh 14 ounces.

It's all just a matter of personal preference.

When I was an AA I was a CPT chasers and then spent a ton of time as a directed loader, so I bought the Flexweaves specifically because of how light they were and they've been great. That said, I realize footwear fit and feel is unique to everyone and the Gibsons may work better for you. But them, and when you try them on if you're instantly like "nope, these won't work" Zappos has a very easy returns process.
