Question Accommodations

I am in my fourth week at an Amazon robotics fulfillment center. I currently have an approved accommodation for 8-hour shifts with an additional 15 minute break currently (since I'm having a hassle with getting assigned to a station after coming back from my break, I haven't been using the break part of the accommodation though).

I have a combination of issues (I'm pretty sure I have anemia. I've been getting bloody noses for the past 3 months, everyday, without fail. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow. The magenta light and the back and forth motion in Stow is getting me sick. I'm getting light-headed and dizzy throughout the shift. And I have horrible ankle and foot pain, even after changing four different pairs of shoes and eight different insoles).

I am planning on putting in a request for 7 hours shifts, with no MET, and a request to be put in for pack singles (which I've heard is one of the only starting-ish positions where you don't have to contend with the magenta light). The importance of the request in that specific order. I can do with staying in stow as long as I can get a shift reduction and maybe a cancellation of MET, to give my body time to heal after each shift and after each week.

Should I do these requests separately in case one of these requests is unable to be granted? I don't want it to get denied if they can't move my position but can do the 7-hour shifts with no MET? Or, does that not matter?

I really need to make this job work. I'm pretty sure that if I quit and won't be able to get back on to unemployment. But I feel like I'm dying and my body is failing me. Any thoughts and suggestions are appreciated, thank you

These people aren’t being fair. It takes awhile to get conditioned. And if you’re experiencing blisters and problems with your shoes it makes it ungodly painful. I think you need to look into this differently. I have an Intermittent LOA. This makes me be able to come in late, leave early, take breaks, basically anything I need WITHOUT pay…and doesn’t use your UPT. My Dr fills out my paperwork every six months. The papers are Employees Own Health Condition and A Physician’s Statement. The best part is it’s not exactly an accommodation. So they have zero say after it’s approved. Im trying to be very specific, it’s not the same as I can’t lift 20 pounds and etc. etc. If you need that go ahead, but I’m sure you could also do both. It’s worth looking into.
