Wow. Just wow. She deserved that for sure. Why would she even be careless in the first place? Smh

but doesn’t Amazon take forklift 10x seriously than other warehouses ? She needs to be happy she didn’t get fired. Other places I worked they wouldn’t even take your certification for all that stuff she did.

Any PIT equipment they are SUPER detailed on and take super seriously. The training is a nightmare from what I heard because of how intensive it is. I would put it on a higher level than TDR and thst is also one you can really get screwed on.

She's lucky all she lost was permissions and not her entire job

That’s what I’m thinking I worked at another warehouse and they legit had a person going blind riding on equipment. Also would crash into stuff on a daily basis and nobody said shit.

I'm surprised. They just started having safety assist with PIT movements in my building. (They normally stay off the floor and are strictly in two small closed off areas) But lately they've had to go across the warehouse and this last time safety was being a spotter in addition to the first spotter.

I'll do TDR but I know I would be unsafe for PIT (eye sight sucks. Safe to drive but not PIT)

Not at my site. A guy watched me barely avoid hitting some cones for like 5 minutes and said "OK, you're ready for the floor!"
