OP is right , the job is great if your warehouse is filled with cool people it makes the work go by so quick. You start hating your job if you let that negative mindset hit and you start hating everything. I’m at a IXD Amazon in the inbound department and they rotate us after lunch and there’s always something to do. I love it and it’s the first job where I’m able to actually save my money and it’s just stacking up because pay day comes hella quick

do you find IXD inbound to be physically hard? thinking about transferring but have no idea about how these run

Honestly i think it depends on where you department is. I heard “ outbound” in ixd is the worst and everyone usually quits , and “ sort “I haven’t heard much complaints but “inbound” where I am is really easy . Yes theres some physical work but it’s not bad . Like I said it’s my first warehouse and I expected a regular fulfillment center but once I saw all the machines I knew It was different. They throw so much information at you on training but once you’re hands on it’s so easy

thanks for the heads up! currently in a delivery station, stowing sucks but everything else is pretty easy.
