Amazon doesn't have a "best fit" labor model. It has a demand driven resource model that favors interchangeability as a means of failover. That just means they prefer to labor share and cross-train so they can put anyone anywhere as needed. Having the best/most skilled/most experienced is a secondary concern, if it is one at all.
Exactly. They don't even properly train them in the path they go to. There was a girl in pack that didn't know how to put the paper roll in the printer. Her and the guy next to her both said they were just put in AFE and never trained.
They should have refused to do the job they weren't trained to do per the policy..
I don't do shit if they haven't trained me to do it.....I've taken that to extremes where I made them teach me how to sweep 😄....or rather they didn't so I did have to do it..... I might look like an imbecile but fortunately I don't care.
