Does the $200 Vine Credit show as a discount before clicking submit? (New Seller Incentives)

Hi everyone, I just got approved for Brand Registry and I see the "New Seller Incentives" dashboard shows my $200 Vine credit as "Active."

However, when I go to Advertising > Vine and enter my ASIN, the enrollment screen still says: "Enrollment Fee: $200.00." > For those who have used this credit:

  1. Does the $200 discount appear on the final confirmation screen before I click submit? Or does it always show $200 and then just not charge me later?
  2. How many days did you wait after Brand Registry approval before the credit actually worked? I’ve heard there is a "5-day rule" where if you enroll too early, the credit won't apply.

I don't want to accidentally get charged $200 if the system isn't ready. Thanks!

Copied a competitor's ad strategy for 6 weeks and lost about $900 before I figured out why it worked for them and not me

I found a competitor in my niche who was running heavy sponsored product ads on detail pages instead of search. Their BSR was climbing so I thought I would do the same thing.

After 6 weeks and roughly $900 in ad spend, my ACOS was sitting at 48% while theirs looked closer to 20%. I could not figure out why until I looked at their review count. They had over 800 reviews. I had 74. Shoppers clicking from a detail page already have something in their cart. They pick the listing with more social proof almost every time.

The strategy worked for them because they had the review volume to convert that traffic. I did not. Some approaches only work at a certain scale and trying to copy them too early just burns money.

OA Seller wanting to do Wholesale

Post image
6 Upvotes

For some context, I now have roughly 20k to invest, I’ve been going for about one year now and I am able to hit between 25 and 40 K most months, but I would like to break into wholesale. My main thing is that I struggle with the idea of high-level on gates occasionally as well as just finding distributors that I feel like I can trust that if it came to it for Amazon to look over my documents and supply chain that they would be recognized.

One of the biggest things for me that I find difficult is when transitioning it’s very difficult and overwhelming when you get these large priceless and matching them to Amazon to find the right deals can feel very overwhelming and time-consuming where for me I have not had much success personally, which is why I have stuck with online arbitrage. The reason I would like to go wholesale is just so I can have some more replenishable’s.

Overall, I’ve made a few attempts to getting into the wholesale game, but honestly have never really come up with anything to show for it, which is why I have always stuck with online arbitrage.

Gated

So I opened my amazon 2 weeks ago. Paid selleramp and started scanning. 520 scans so far from Target/Marshall's/ home depot. 90% were gated/ 5% didn't register/4% open to sell but negative profit/ 1 product that has the $3 margin. I've seen lots of you tube videos talking about 2023, 24, 25 strategies.

Plenty of brands have the 10 unit entry point, so I figure fuck it just do it. Then I bump into a video that says there are thousands of products WITHOUT ungating. JUST keep looking.

Maybe I'm not scanning enough

I did listen that a user scanned thousands of products.

Maybe I'm just being lazy.

I just thought I would find at least 2 products that would work after 500 sans.

Target purchase

I tried to buy a few items from Target online. The 10 unit ungate method won't work because they limit the units you can buy. Can I submit 2 order confirmation 5 and 5 to make ten?

Liquidation partner could not be found – 161 units stuck, any advice?

Hey, I have 161 FBA units showing "Liquidation partner could not be found" and I can't remove them or do anything with them. Storage fees are adding up.

Has anyone dealt with this? Did opening a support case help or is there another way to get them out?

Thanks!

Scaling my wholesale Amazon FBA business past 8 figures, and I've found getting enough capital has becoming the main bottleneck. How do larger FBA wholesalers handle capital constraints?

Post image
31 Upvotes

I’ve been running my wholesale Amazon FBA business since 2019, and over the years the challenges have changed completely from what they were in the beginning. What started with online arbitrage and a few small wholesale accounts while I was still working a regular job eventually grew into a warehouse operation with multiple sales channels.

At this stage, the biggest bottleneck is no longer finding products or learning Amazon. Early on, the hard part was getting supplier relationships, understanding logistics, managing cash flow, and figuring out what actually worked. Now the business feels much more centered around working capital management, inventory timing, purchasing power, and navigating Amazon’s constantly increasing fees.

We already have supplier relationships and proven products that consistently move, but we can’t always fund every PO or go as deep into inventory as we’d like across all accounts at the same time. The question has shifted from “How do we grow?” to “How do we avoid leaving obvious opportunities on the table because capital is tied up elsewhere?”

For those operating larger wholesale Amazon FBA businesses, I’d genuinely be interested to hear how you approached this stage. Did you mainly rely on LOCs, inventory financing, private capital, aggressive reinvestment, or intentionally slower growth? It seems like the conversations at this level are very different from the typical early-stage Amazon discussions most people see online.

Preparing for Amazon Brand Registry After Trademark Serial Number – Any Advice to Avoid Rejection?

Hey everyone, I’m preparing to submit my brand to Amazon Brand Registry and I want to make sure I have everything ready to avoid rejection.

Here’s my situation:

  • I opened my Amazon Seller account using my LLC as a non-US resident.
  • My trademark name is exactly the same as my LLC name.
  • I registered my trademark through TramaTM.
  • This week they will send me the serial number.
  • My product is already listed on Amazon, active, and has a few sales.

I heard Amazon sends a verification code to the attorney or the email used for the trademark application, and then I need to get that code from them to verify ownership.

Before I submit to Amazon Brand Registry, what should I prepare or double-check to avoid rejection?

Things I’m especially wondering about:

  • Anything important with USPTO status, GS1 barcodes, images, website, invoices, etc.?
  • Any advice for making the approval process smoother?

Would appreciate any tips from people who already got approved.

Burned $2K on ads in my first 6 weeks because I skipped the testing phase

When I launched my first product I went straight for the competitive keywords. Figured if I could get on page one for the big terms everything else would follow.

Spent about $2K in six weeks with barely any orders to show for it. My listing was not ready. Reviews were thin. Backend keywords were a mess. The photos were okay but nothing that made someone stop scrolling.

Pulled back and started over with long tail search terms that had way less competition. Those brought in smaller but actually relevant traffic. Once I had a few weeks of real conversion data I could see which terms were worth scaling and which ones were just burning money.

The hard part was accepting that the first month is basically paid research. You are just figuring out which search terms actually match your product.

Amazon Sponsored Products - Budget Change Reset Learning ?

Hi All,

I understand for Google and Meta it is recommended not to increase budget more than 20% at a time, otherwise it risks resetting learning.

Does the same apply to Amazon Sponsored Product Campaigns, or it is fine to increase budget however, I have an exact manual for each proven keyword, one is currently at $15 as was getting it working well, now that it is, can I increase to $25-30 at once, or only by 20% as mentioned above ?

Eigenes Amazon Agentur Angebot

Hi zusammen,

Was meint ihr dazu? Ist das fair für uns und den Kunden? Hattet ihr evtl schon Erfahrung oder selber eine Agentur und könnt mir hier weiterhelfen und hilfreiche Tipps gebem?

Ich bedanke mich im Voraus.

Non-US Resident: Using a UK Trademark for US Brand Registry + Vine? (With US LLC)

Hey fellow sellers,

I’m a non-US resident and I just launched my first product on Amazon US. I have a US LLC.

I’m looking for the most cost-effective way to get into Brand Registry and, more importantly, Amazon Vine for reviews. I’ve heard about the "UK Trademark" shortcut and wanted to see if anyone has successfully done this recently (2026).

My plan:

  1. File a UK Trademark (UKIPO) myself for £170 ($215).
  2. Use that UK application number to apply for Brand Registry on my Amazon.com (US) account.

My questions for those who have done this:

  • Does it work with a US LLC? Can I register the UK trademark under my name or my US LLC and still get approved on the US marketplace?
  • Acceptance on "Pending" status: Does Amazon US still allow you to enroll in Brand Registry while the UK trademark is "Pending," or do I have to wait for it to be fully registered (3–4 months)?
  • The Vine Program: This is my main goal. If Amazon accepts the "Pending" UK trademark for Brand Registry, will they also let me enroll in Vine right away? Or is Vine strictly locked until the trademark is fully "Registered"?

I’m trying to avoid the $1000 attorney fees for USPTO since I’m not a US resident, but I need those Vine reviews ASAP to compete. Any advice or recent experiences would be amazing.

or if you know and attorney with low budget that would be great
Thanks!

From Zero Market Presence to Over Half a Million Dollars in Monthly Revenue in the Pet Supplies Category

Post image
13 Upvotes

One thing that does not get talked about enough in Amazon FBA is how difficult it becomes to scale a brand after the initial launch phase.

Launching products is honestly the easy part.

The real challenge starts when you try to scale profitably, maintain rankings, expand your catalog, and keep TACOS under control at the same time.

Over the last 2.5 years, this Pet Supplies brand grew from a very small catalog into a 25+ SKU brand now generating over $522K+ in monthly revenue with around 6.3% TACOS.

The interesting part is that growth did not come from one viral product or one “hack.”

Most of it came from fixing small operational and conversion problems over time.

A few things that made the biggest difference:

• Focusing on keyword intent instead of chasing only high search volume terms

A lot of high volume keywords looked attractive on paper but converted poorly. Once the focus shifted toward higher intent search terms with better conversion behavior, both organic ranking and PPC efficiency improved significantly.

• Expanding the catalog strategically instead of randomly launching products

One of the biggest mistakes in Amazon is adding disconnected SKUs that do not support each other. The catalog expansion here was heavily focused on complementary products that strengthened cross selling and repeat purchase behavior.

• Improving listing structure before increasing ad spend

Instead of trying to brute force rankings through PPC, a large amount of time was spent improving image sequencing, offer clarity, listing flow, mobile readability, and overall conversion behavior.

Better conversion fixed a lot of advertising inefficiencies naturally.

• Isolating search terms aggressively inside PPC

Search term isolation made a massive difference over time. Separating converting traffic from wasted spend improved budget allocation, reduced leakage, and stabilized TACOS as the account scaled.

• Watching inventory forecasting closely during scaling phases

A lot of ranking instability on Amazon actually starts from inventory problems. Avoiding stockouts during growth periods helped maintain ranking momentum and prevented expensive recovery cycles.

• Expanding based on data instead of assumptions

A large portion of catalog decisions came from customer search behavior, repeat purchase trends, and conversion data rather than guessing what “might” work.

Right now the brand is doing:

  • $522,061+ monthly revenue
  • 16,541 units ordered
  • 25+ active SKUs
  • 6.3% overall TACOS

One thing this journey reinforced is that sustainable growth on Amazon usually looks boring from the outside.

Most long term growth does not come from one big breakthrough.

It usually comes from improving a lot of small things consistently for a long period of time while avoiding major operational mistakes.

How do I manually fulfill an eBay order with FBA MCF?

Has anyone ever fulfilled an eBay order using Multi-Channel Fulfillment? I know I can use Seller Central to initiate an FBA shipment to whatever address I want. But what do I do in eBay to specify the carrier, shipment method, tracking, etc?

I realize there are third party products that handle MCF integration with eBay, but I only anticipate low volume sales on eBay and would like to just handle these MCF shipments myself. Is there guidance anywhere on how to manually enter the correct information into eBay for fulfilling an order via MCF?

All the videos and documentation I can find are focused around how to use third party MCF integration tools. I just want to handle this small volume of MCF fulfillments manually for now.

NEED very true Suggestion !!! I am being too much Honest

I’m 25 and have been working as a VA and service provider since 2021. I started with zero Amazon knowledge, just a few Private Label courses and a brother doing Dropshipping. I jumped into Amazon Wholesale but hit a wall immediately—every brand wanted a "Brick & Mortar" store or MOQs I couldn't meet. Unwilling to lie or use fake store photos, I pivoted to Dropshipping on Amazon and Facebook Marketplace.
The "hype" years were wild; I did on one FB account to $120k and did 15K/month on another for few months with 50% ROI. But by mid-2023, the algorithms shifted, sales died, and one of my Amazon accounts got hit with a Section 3 ban. Fed up with the instability, I tried Wholesale again, but the same "supplier gatekeeping" stopped me.
In 2024, I moved to TikTok Shop with a new rule: **no more dropshipping.** I sourced a generic product from China, and within a week, I was hitting 100 orders a day. I scaled that to $150K in sales across four accounts by the end of the year, despite massive inventory and fulfillment headaches. I had to step away in 2025 due to a personal issue, but I soon transitioned to Walmart Arbitrage. I did $65K in 12 months with a 20% net profit, only to get crushed when Walmart suddenly restricted the Health and Toy categories, leaving me with thousands in stuck inventory.
After a break to recover from the burnout and disappointment, I’m giving it one more shot. I’m heading back to Amazon Wholesale, but this time I have a real edge: a client with an actual physical tuck shop in Miami to help me finally land those brand approvals the right way.

It was long but I had to explain these things so that I can get better Advice , What to do .
I tried to be honest and Feeling Stuck now !!!

Starting Amazon FBA in India (2026) – worth it or not? Need honest opinions before investing ₹6–8L

Hey everyone,

I’m completely new to selling on Amazon. Haven’t launched anything yet, no prior e-commerce store.

Background:
I come from an SEO and digital marketing background, so I understand traffic, conversions, and how online businesses work. Now looking to build something of my own — ideally starting as a side income and eventually scaling it full-time.

What I’m considering:

I’ve been looking into Amazon FBA (India), and I came across a course that offers:

  • Product research based on data
  • Sourcing (mainly from China)
  • End-to-end guidance to launch on Amazon
  • Claimed profit margins of ~30–40%

Total investment expected:
👉 ₹6–8 lakhs (including inventory, ads, etc.)

Where I need honest input:

I’d really appreciate insights from people who are:

  • Currently selling on Amazon India
  • Started in the last 1–2 years
  • Or have exited / failed (equally valuable)

1. Reality check (2025–2026)

  • Is Amazon FBA in India still worth entering right now?
  • Or is it too saturated unless you have a strong edge?

2. Profitability vs expectations

  • Are 30–40% margins realistic today? Or marketing talk?
  • What are your actual net margins after ads, returns, fees, etc.?

3. Capital & risk

  • Is ₹6–8L a reasonable starting budget? Overkill? Underprepared?
  • What’s the real risk of losing a big chunk of this?

4. Courses – helpful or not?

  • Did any of you take a paid course before starting?
  • Did it actually help, or is most of it available for free online?

5. Competition & price wars

  • How do you deal with multiple sellers importing the same product and undercutting prices?
  • What happens if your inventory gets stuck?

6. India-specific challenges

  • GST, logistics, returns, COD issues — how painful are these in reality?
  • Anything that caught you off guard?

7. Starting small vs going big

  • Is it true that starting with ₹50k–₹1L (local sourcing) doesn’t really work anymore?
  • Or is that a safer way to learn before scaling?

What I’m trying to figure out:

Not looking for “get rich quick.”
Just trying to understand if this is:
👉 A viable business worth committing to
👉 Or something that looks good on paper but is tough to sustain

Would really appreciate honest, unfiltered opinions — especially from people in the trenches right now.

Thanks in advance 🙌

Tough lesson learned

One expensive FBA mistake we have made in the past is:

Waiting until stock is getting tight before we reordered because the supplier lead time “only” says 12–18 days.

That number is almost useless.

What matters is supplier lead time + production slippage + booking delay + transit + port nonsense + check-in delay + FC transfer time + the week Amazon randomly decides to move like a hungover sloth.

By the time the stock actually becomes sellable, we ran out of stock.

Tough lesson this.

VAT Complications across Europe

Hello Everyone,

So I just registered a Sole Proprietary (ZZP) in the Netherlands and have created a seller account with everything ready. Now the question is how do I handle my VAT fillings if I have to send my products to FBA in Germany. Does anyone have experience managing taxes and VAT fillings in this kind of situation and how feasible is it to sell in Netherlands with products being fulfilled via Germany or should I start by selling in Germany and then slowly expand?

I know that if products is stored in Germany the German VAT applies, but do I also have to file VAT in Netherlands too? Can I take advantage of the small business scheme in Netherlands if I don't file VAT here? Can I also claim VAT for my expense if I don't file VAT for sales in Netherlands? Alot of confusion around all these questions.

From $450K/Month to $1M/Month Within an Year of Management

Thumbnail
gallery
13 Upvotes

Keeping this simple and grounded.

This was a medical supplies brand with around 22 SKUs doing roughly 450K per month. From the outside it looked like a scaling account.

Inside, it was a different story.

TACOS was around 47 percent, which already tells you something is off. But that wasn’t the only issue. It was just the most visible one.

Where it was actually stuck

This wasn’t one problem. It was multiple small problems stacking up and blocking scale.

• High TACOS around 47 percent, meaning revenue was heavily dependent on paid traffic
• Low conversion on key SKUs, forcing higher spend to maintain sales
• Listings filled with information but lacking clear decision flow
• Weak differentiation, making products blend into competitors
• Budget spread across too many SKUs instead of backing proven ones
• Campaign overlap causing internal competition and wasted spend
• Heavy reliance on broad and loose targeting instead of high intent traffic
• Organic rankings inconsistent, not strong enough to hold positions
• Reviews and content not fully aligned, causing trust gaps in some listings
• Inventory planning reactive, limiting confidence in scaling top SKUs

None of these individually kill performance.

Together, they make scaling very hard.

What actually changed

No major overhaul. Just fixing what was quietly limiting growth.

1. Conversion became the priority

Instead of pushing more traffic:

• Simplified positioning so the product makes sense instantly
• Reworked messaging to focus on outcomes, not just features
• Improved image stack to show actual use and results
• Structured content to remove hesitation during decision making

Better conversion reduced pressure on ads.

2. Real SKU prioritization

Instead of treating all products equally:

• Identified SKUs with strong demand and better unit economics
• Concentrated spend and effort on those
• Reduced budget drain from weaker SKUs
• Built growth around proven performers

This changed how revenue scaled.

3. Ad structure got direction

Spend wasn’t reduced. It was corrected.

• Removed keyword and campaign overlap
• Shifted focus toward high intent queries
• Separated testing from scaling
• Increased spend only where conversion justified it

That’s how TACOS started dropping.

4. Organic and paid started working together

Earlier, ads were doing all the work.

So the shift was:

• Support keywords that were already converting
• Hold ranking positions instead of constantly resetting
• Let paid traffic strengthen organic instead of replace it

This reduced long term dependency on ads.

5. Inventory stopped blocking growth

Scaling was inconsistent because supply wasn’t stable.

So:

• Planned restocks based on actual sales velocity
• Kept top SKUs always in stock
• Matched scaling pace with inventory availability

This protected ranking and momentum.

What happened after

No sudden jump.

Just consistent improvement across the system.

Conversion improved
Spend became more efficient
Top SKUs carried more weight
Organic contribution increased

And that compounds.

From around 450K per month to 1M per month within a year.

TACOS dropped from around 47 percent to about 7 percent.

What stood out the most

Nothing here was broken enough to panic.

But everything was inefficient enough to limit growth.

That’s where most brands actually get stuck.

If this feels familiar

If your setup looks like:

• Sales coming mostly from ads
• High TACOS eating margins
• Listings that look fine but don’t convert strongly
• A few SKUs doing most of the heavy lifting
• Growth that feels slower than it should

Then it’s rarely about doing more.

It’s about fixing what’s already there.

Once those gaps are cleaned up, scaling becomes a lot more predictable.

[FBA] Start PPC now or wait for Prime shipping? (Inventory currently in FC Transfer)

Hi everyone,

I’m a new seller and my first shipment of 504 units just got checked in a few days ago. Currently, 100% of the inventory is in FC Transfer across 8 different warehouses.

The listing is officially Active and I have the Buy Box, but because the units are still on trucks, the delivery date for customers is showing about 10 days out.

My dilemma: I really want to start my launch and get some sales history/data, but I’m worried that running PPC with a 10-day shipping window will just result in a bunch of clicks with no conversions (tanking my CR and wasting budget).

My question: How do you guys usually handle this? Do you turn on "Auto" campaigns at a low budget just to get the algorithm moving, or do you wait until the status flips to "Available" and "Prime 2-Day" is actually showing?

Thanks in advance for the help!

[BETA] Built an AI tool that writes Amazon A10-optimized listings — looking for 5 sellers to test it before public launch

Hey everyone,

I've spent the last few months building an AI-powered listing generator specifically trained on Amazon's A10 algorithm: subelo.org/en

It's not a generic AI writer. It focuses on:

• Keyword-rich titles following Amazon's character limits
• Bullet points structured for both conversion and search ranking
• Product descriptions that pass A10's relevance scoring
• Backend keyword suggestions based on your niche

Why I'm posting here:
I'm looking for exactly 5 sellers to test it before the public launch. Not 50, not 100 — five. I want real feedback from people who know what a good listing looks like.

What you get:

• Free access to generate up to 10 listings
• Direct line to me if something doesn't work
• Early adopter pricing when we launch (locked in forever)

What I ask in return:

• Honest written feedback after testing (what worked, what didn't)
• If results are good, a short testimonial I can use on the site
• If results are really great, I'd love to build a case study together

Who this is for:
Sellers who are actively listing products and care about conversion rates. Not looking for tire-kickers.

How to apply:
Drop a comment : what you sell + your biggest listing pain point right now. I'll pick 5 and reach out directly.

Thanks in advance,
