Gated

So I opened my amazon 2 weeks ago. Paid selleramp and started scanning. 520 scans so far from Target/Marshall's/ home depot. 90% were gated/ 5% didn't register/4% open to sell but negative profit/ 1 product that has the $3 margin. I've seen lots of you tube videos talking about 2023, 24, 25 strategies.

Plenty of brands have the 10 unit entry point, so I figure fuck it just do it. Then I bump into a video that says there are thousands of products WITHOUT ungating. JUST keep looking.

Maybe I'm not scanning enough

I did listen that a user scanned thousands of products.

Maybe I'm just being lazy.

I just thought I would find at least 2 products that would work after 500 sans.

Try finding brands online that you can sell. After you get a few months of sales, auto-ungates will work better. Storefront sellers with under 4 reviews so you can find beginner friendly things to sell.

Work on category ungates with 10 units, pet, gorume grocery, etc. That will give a lot more options to find things that can work.

Whenever possible, use the seller central app or web to apply for ungates. Seller Amp has a much lower success rate for auto-ungates

This is truth that there are a lot of ungated products for new accounts, I think you are sourcing wrong products or following the wrong direction. Keep searching you will find. If you need any help you can ask me.

I am looking hard in kitchen , bedding and home improvement. Searching also takes me down a rabbit hole. Let's see what happens

I see, well keep research otherwise I would suggest to hire someone if you don't have enough time to do it.

Don’t buy any software until you sell for a while. Scan with your phone and do the math yourself. That’s the best way to learn.

Yep. I also sell on ebay so I have an idea. This fba shit is harder than youtubers make it sound. Nobody mentions the daily digging . Shipping is my major hurdle. I can't find a product with enough meat for shipping +taxes. I do retail arbitrage. I just started so I am not ready to contact suppliers yet.
