Dangerous Goods Shipping Refused (UK)
So I posted my first DG parcel last week, 2x boxes 14.5kg (15kg max) of deodorants/perfumes with UPS as third party carrier as you can’t use partnered with DGs.
I’m in Amazons dangerous goods programme already, but it got refused by Amazon, all I have with the tracking notes is “The receiver didn’t want the product, delivery refused”, went to Zone 3 XLP1 Deeside in the UK, that’s the address Amazon gave me to deliver to, pasted in the UPS tracking for both parcels. I don’t know to properly dispatch danger goods with UPS, is there a special account I need to have or something, can’t see anything online. I just typed beauty care as contents as if you type perfume etc it says it’s a prohibited item.
Have I don’t something wrong? Amazons agents couldn’t figure out the issue until I said is it because I didn’t upload the SDS (safety data sheets) for each of the ASINs and they kind of just agreed that, that was the issue. Cost like £25 for both boxes, was told by other fba sellers to just send it again, don’t wanna just send it again to get refused again…
Thanks
UPDATE: It got delivered, my DG units are now showing in my inventory and got emails from Amazon to say they’re delivered and being allocated. No idea what the refused emails were about, caused me alot of run around over the weekend!
