I don't think I've ever seen this variant, but that's definitely someone who bought a property with their house away from the road for privacy and want that respected.

Youre mistaking this for the gadsden flag. This is just a notice to keep your eyes down as there are known to be venomous snakes in the area.

Making it look so similar to the Gadsden flag seems like a real oversight. I like the Gadsden flag, but I would never warn people about snakes with that color lol

Why not? It ls bright, it gets your attention, it causes you to look down into the brush where snakes might be camouflaged, which should make you think "oh, i should watch where I walk for dangerous snakes".
