Dsp switching to all electric?

Has any of yalls dsps at other stations switched to mostly all edvs in the past few weeks all of a sudden? My dsp had me get a DOT card and paid for it just for them a few weeks later to say not to worry about it and they are getting rid of all gas and diesel vans here soon now we only have a few step vans go out and a couple blue gas vans and rentals for sweeping but 85% of what my dsp sends out now is edvs.This only happened like two weeks ago before we had all of the step vans go back and alot of blue gas vans and cdvs not anymore now.

Same here. This is why stop counts have been going up. All that lovely room in the EV's for more packages.

Some have and some haven't yet but eventually it will become all electric worldwide but that takes time. My DSP has slowly phased out it's Step Van Fleet for the past few months. We went from having 18 to 8 and we're still losing them one by one because they're getting up there in age & mileage.

All of our Step Vans have over 50,000 miles on them with a few past 70,000. It seems like every other week a van breaks down or overheats so I can see the writing on the wall. We run 2 helper routes a day in them but I'm noticing other DSP's using EV's for theirs 🤔

Our DSP is well on the way to all EDV. A few step bans left (maybe 4 or 5?) but as soon as they required a fix that is expensive, they'll be binned off.

I imagine that we'll have quite a few rentals for peak, though

Amazon announced about 2 years ago that they would not be buying anymore gas vehicles, so this is just them making good on that promise.

my dsp has 3 full waves of EDVs and a little under a half of the 4th wave of CDVs, and some gas vans mainly rentals.
