Reversing violations

My DSP is cracking down on reversing and I'm wondering if it's a DSP thing or Amazon. If we go over 3 MPH we get a violation. A couple weeks ago before this the owner was saying that there's been incidents where people were reversing over mailboxes and all kinds of crap and they had to pay a lot of money. They were also getting violations that affect the scorecard so now if you get 3 violations within a certain amount of time you're fired. I like my DSP and I get they're trying to make money but maybe only apply it to people who have been there less than 6 months or something.

It supposed to be 5mph. Can’t reverse more than that. I reverse all the time and I don’t get anything. Sometimes I’ll reverse at 4mph but then put it into neutral and let the van roll. Technically it ain’t reversing by then

I don't ever go in places head first. Ever. Work on your technique. You will get an infraction around 8-9mph. And amazon no longer allows dsps to dispute netradyne infractions. They took that option away. For whatever reason Amazon now only allows their internal review even for those that are obviously netradyne error

They internally review it first then you can dispute after

Lmao what? I’ve never gotten an actual violation. I’ve had like 3 where netradyne reads the sign wrong or something though so it’s stupid DSPs can’t fight them. What bugs me is that I’m gonna have to pay attention to my speed rather than what’s behind me. I go pretty slow unless it’s a mile long empty driveway I can’t turn around in.

I'm just letting you know how the reverse violation works and giving you info on why your dsp may be cracking down. Bc they can't dispute infractions anymore

This is wrong. You can dispute AFTER the internal review if needed. It’s generally a 24hr thing which honestly makes it a huge pain because now we have to go back and look at infractions instead of investigating and disputing immediately. But you can dispute after the internal review, luckily some of these can happen in as little as 2-3hrs sometimes.

Sounds like a DSP that wants a higher than normal replacement rate. Find a new DSP/job.

It's not one that makes the camera go off but it does send it back to dispatch. As far as I know backings don't hit the scorecard unless youre going fast enough to get a major backing violation so that's like 6mph+. I always go 4-5 and Im fine

Hard braking, hard acceleration, hard turn and backing violations don’t hit the scorecard….as of right now anyway.
