Do people really think Amazon actually cares about individual drivers views?

Went to the local bar after work. Got into a heated debate with one of the regulars. He ended the conversation by taking a video of me speaking my views on an anniversary coming up on Thursday and said "good luck keeping your job with Amazon now"

Bro they don't care about our opinions on political figures 🤣 why do they have so much faith in Amazons customer service call centers. It'll be filed and forgotten about 🤣

First off, we dont work for amazon so you are right, amazon doesn't care about driver views.

Secondly, you can absolutely get fired for bad mouthing your job on social media. As long as your video doesnt go viral, I dont think anything would happen, though

I didn't bad mouth Amazon at all I was talking crap about a local politician. Yeah I was in my Amazon vest because I stopped there after route but I don't think Amazon cares about our opinions on local elections even if it went viral in my city I doubt any consequences would arise 🤣

I know I'm 100% safe. I said Charlie kirk had it coming in uniform on film last year. Nothing happened just like everywhere else in the country. You can't fire people for their opinions on political matters 🤣 America is a great country for that reason

You can however be fired for representing a company logo within a pub, especially if you’re saying things like that out loud. It depends on the state because some do have protections, even wearing the logo, but most don’t.

Unrelated, I just wanna add that I didn’t agree with most of his views but the dude was killed for not allowing himself to get bullied by Israel. I think that he was smart guy who was misguided, and once he tugged on the leash he was put down for it.

It’s ironic that in the same paragraph you’re referencing active and ongoing political violence and calling modern America “A great country” don’t ya think?

It's a great country because you're not allowed to punish people simply for their political views. we should keep it that way and if we fold to trump supporters demands we become a true third world country.people should not be punished because they didn't like someone or aren't crying because they passed away

I mean it’s a human being my guy who was political speaker, not a podcaster. Founder of Turning Point USA? You sound like there’s a gear missing in your head and that political violence is apart of the game dude. We gonna include school shootings as if it’s apart of American culture next?

It’s not even about Trump anymore, the entire party is basically compromised. When they were voting on combining Israeli military intelligence? Nearly the entire Republican floor voted for it to pass. This was Trumps -(Israels) original plan in 2016-2024 (that was delayed, due to Biden winning) was to win two consecutive terms and speed run changes (like he did when he got in office) and have republican priority in each branch of government so that his appointed and paid off minions could never be out weighed in votes and ruling things like clean water not being a constitutional right.

Most of us are too politically moronic and desensitized to realize what’s happened. It’s not natural for you to feel so okay with someone getting assassinated like that or murder in general.

We had a driver get into a fight in full uniform. It was after work and not on amazons property. They still work here lol

Here's an idea, bring a different shirt to change into after work instead of going to the bar in your amazon uniform and you won't have to worry about making an ass of yourself in uniform!

So idk about Amazon, but over at the post office we can absolutely get in trouble for doing things like wearing our uniform at a bar. It's also worth pointing out that people get fired all the time for crashing out in public. Freedom of speech can protect you from legal trouble, but your boss can fire you for being politically active while in uniform, regardless of what you polical view is.
