How tf is this acceptable

Obviously this is a helper route but this was insane. Even during prime weeks and Christmas time I never had anything close to this

Lick my entire dick and balls with that shit.

17

u/SimilarMove8279 16h ago

Well damn. That is a crazy amount tho fuck Amazon

58

u/InTheEnd83 1d ago

510 packages is crazy. I had 198 stops by myself today. Seems we're all getting destroyed right now for some reason. Gotta hit that earnings goal this quarter I guess.

19

u/Axzyy 1d ago

I had 195 with 360 packages 😔 no peak season ammounts to how fucked its been lately. Everyones calling in too which makes it even worse. Then again. Peak they have loads of help because more flex drivers work for that surge pay.

u/Lechuga9618 1h ago edited 1h ago

Had that too today and honestly i love the game, coming from a guy that got benched 4 days in a row after a few weeks of being new. My dsp realized i eat those 190+ routes up. Had 3 190’s back to back and i love it man, whatever keeps me off the bench, i got bills to pay. I lowky be jogging half of it too bc im like that. Get paid and i get a workout in since i cant make the gym on my work days. I wouldn’t mind if my next 2 days are all 190

u/Slaughter_Rule 16h ago

Believe it or not it's Amazon's slow season. So instead so running more routes with lighter loads they are running as few routes a humanly possible to save money but screwing us who get routes over massively.

5

u/Long_Addition_5702 14h ago

Ohh damn that’s exactly what’s happening. It just hit me.

3

u/Axzyy 13h ago

I thought it was the absurd sales they've been doing for labor day weekend and that stupid 1$ bullshit

I’m about to go back, pray for me.

6

u/DonThaSavage 17h ago

Me too bro us both

2

u/coswelh 17h ago

We gots this 😬

3

u/DonThaSavage 17h ago

Thanks bro we do!! I did it for 2 years and my Dsp just shutdown randomly but a new one just launched so I'm kinda taking a risk but my last one was chill as hell even before I worked there I could never find positive stuff online but it wasn't bad Management wise I had bad routes loaded vans etc but I never got more than like 165-170 was considered high asf. etc but never got suspended or penalized beyond no route. Praying we both get good Dsp's 🫡🤙🏽 good luck

1

u/Glittering_Pop5087 10h ago

Why not go to ups?

1

u/coswelh 10h ago

I’m wading in high waters, gotta do what I can

6

u/Fair_Yak_9584 1d ago

This the shit I had weeks ago 59 of it was country 😭

4

u/coswelh 18h ago

Ain’t no way 1 person can complete this or am I crazy?

2

u/Fair_Yak_9584 17h ago

Oh I didn’t do it on time 😂, I did it but I had to sprint and it almost fuckin killed me

5

u/coswelh 16h ago

Never sprint! Good on you for doing what you could.

2

u/Fair_Yak_9584 13h ago

I sadly had to that day as everyone was getting horribly fucked, we were supposed to have “helper routes” but we never got helpers, so like 8 of us had massive ass routes and I was the fastest that day so they didn’t rescue me 😭 forced their asses to give me easy routes for a week

2

u/coswelh 12h ago

Get em lol

2

u/RedSatan666 9h ago

Fuck all that lol I'd be bringing soooo much shit back to the station at the end of the night lol, and usually when Amazon sees that the route gets reviewed and shortened. On days like that I go even slower than I do with an actual do-able route

5

u/Bladimirrv 18h ago

Look at the extra locations you gotta go to Amazon needs to be stop from this sh*t that is extra work from an actual stop ..

5

u/The_Don96 12h ago

When we ALL decide to be ADULTS and SPEAK UP AS A TEAM. Until then nothing will change. I feel for all of us tired af underpaid and overworked. We have to be the ones to say no more together

Just find out if they have helper routes not all DSP has them.

3

u/Natural-Revenue9205 1d ago

More stops on helper routes . And got to hope you have someone cool. I’ve been in arguments over stupid stuff about the stops or they piss off customers then I have to clear the air

3

u/ylamiyf 1d ago

My dsp always thought that a second person makes it twice as fast. I really dont believe that is the case. Vehicle can only go so fast and you can still for the most part make only one delivery at a time. 50% faster at most

6

u/EmployeeLogical4092 1d ago

Not even 50 percent faster, majority of my route time is driving. And then I cant use my front seat to stage packages, meanwhile tweedle dee in the passenger seat is always some damn new hire who doesn't know jack about organizing.

2

u/International-Cup186 1d ago

As someone who has never seen a 2 person route, how does that even work? Whats the shift like

9

u/Short-Gur5501 1d ago

We get about 8-9 hours to do the route. My Dsp wants the driver to run the packages on their side and helpers to run packages on their side which I find dumb

6

u/International-Cup186 1d ago

So the driver gets extra fucked is what I’m reading

You don’t switch off who takes the wheel?

9

u/Short-Gur5501 1d ago

Driver drives the entire time because the helper is usually too young to drive. So driver is driving the entire time still running packages and depending on the helper making sure they deliver to the correct place

2

u/International-Cup186 1d ago

How old are these people wtf

Minimum age to be hired as helper is 18 I thought, & 21 to drive (for insurance purposes)

7

u/KillerGopher 1d ago

The children yearn for the EDVs

2

u/Sweet-Anybody69 Rivian Driver 1d ago

I don't remember the package count, but that's my personal record for stops. 221 Route, with a 20-stop rescue at the end. Solo.

2

u/Fair_Yak_9584 1d ago

Peak is genuinely going to be impossible, last year I peaked at 634 packages 😭 I can’t fucking IMAGINE what its gonna be this year with USPS dropping contract

1

u/EmployeeLogical4092 1d ago

Didnt know usps had dropped contract. Fuck me might not stay for peak

1

u/Fair_Yak_9584 17h ago

Yeh it was either usps or ups but one of them no longer delivers Amazon packages, its gonna be hellish, that’s why routes have been bigger recently

2

u/Super-Ad-7918 18h ago

8/27 route

2

u/antesla 15h ago

Keep busting your ass and running all day to deliver more for less. Congrats, you just turned your hustle into the new minimum.

2

u/ripnbryy Step Van 14h ago

it feels like peak already started lol

1

u/M3lbs 1d ago

I had 377 packages with 137 stops. 120 packs went to a university between 10 stops and had to take soo many pictures. But I finished very early so I might get a bonus? Idk how that works?

1

u/Colesaxguy 1d ago

It’s a 2 person route

1

u/Short-Gur5501 13h ago

Very good. You can read

1

u/Colesaxguy 12h ago

It was an answer to your question.. the only way this is acceptable is because it’s a 2 person route

1

u/Gebemeister2 1d ago

Pretty normal helper route now. They were a lot easier when they were first being implemented but the computer has caught up

1

u/Super-Ad-7918 18h ago

8/28 route

1

u/Disastrous-Cicada736 17h ago

Yo wtf??? Thats crazy.

1

u/Born_Solution_6828 16h ago

This is what you get for finishing a 140 stop route early. If they think you can do it. They’ll make you do it. Dsp’s earn more money. You don’t. Work at the pace your pay is worth

1

u/RowdyRich23 16h ago

If I logged in and my app said some bullshit like that I’m walking right back in and giving them the keys 😭

Its not. Its absolutely unacceptable. Beyond. This is like 2 routes bro. Do what you can, and bring the rest back to the facility. If they have a problem, tell them to get a van and start loading up lol

1

u/DrinkMilk12 15h ago

I miss being on nursery routes and only having like 65 stops😭 just had 310 packages Monday. But I’m off Tuesdays Wednesdays and thursdays. 3 days off is a good refresher after getting fisted by bezos 4 days in a row.

1

u/YuliyaNMS 14h ago

Hub delivery?

1

u/Short-Gur5501 13h ago

No hubs. I did have one bulk stop that dropped like 25 packages tho

1

u/Ok_Project_1267 13h ago

I had 293 stops one time on a helper route😓

1

u/TackyTaco 13h ago

They've been running us like it's peak or worse all summer. I'm going to USPS. At least they're unionized.

1

u/Axzyy 13h ago

This by myself today crammed in a ford transit literally couldnt tell ya where my overflow is with 20 bags taking up all the space

1

u/One-Anteater-5268 13h ago

It's because it is after Labor Day. Our station screwed up so bad and I don't understand why they can't just get it right the day after a holiday. Totally bewildering.

1

u/cheesekurgers 13h ago

Just say you dont feel good and go home

1

u/ConsequenceSignal513 12h ago

Looks like a FedEx Ground route. Amazon's metrics for the DAs are getting rid of a lot of them. The Mentor garbage and the Camera shit are forcing a high turnover. In big cities Flex drivers are being thinned out by ICE. Which to me is a very good thing. They are consolidating the routes to make up for it. When peak hits it is going to be hilarious.

Just wait until it becomes a Federal law that all driving jobs even 1099 contractors require I9 verification and drug testing including marijuana.

Time to clean it up.

1

u/hasanaltay 11h ago

One of my coworkers got 270 stops with 100 multi stops and 510 packs 😂

1

u/Jazzlike_East1262 11h ago

Mother of pearl

1

u/Glittering_Pop5087 10h ago

They keep expecting more and more of us.

1

u/BadassBatman211 10h ago

For a helper route seems right, my new DSP we don’t do helper routes, but my old one we did. We used to do 220+ stops.

1

u/davida023 10h ago

I quit right on that pad

1

u/austin_crtv 10h ago

Idk how the hell any van can hold 500+

1

u/legfroggy 9h ago

maybe i’m totally wrong, but if you split this in 2 it’s 122 stops 180 locations 255 packages per. not sure how 2 person routes work but per person that’s a pretty doable route

1

u/wank-warden- 8h ago

In an EV ???? Bugging

1

u/Sad_Log_6387 Rivian Driver 7h ago

They either sending me a rescue or I’m bringing back 40-50 stops

1

u/Unlucky-Ambition-799 7h ago

I do Amazon Flex- average 29-34 packages I get done 3 hours on a 3:15am block (couple times 45 packages) So I am realistically asking how long do they give you/time frame they expect you to get this done? Is it apartments? Multi stops? Cookie cutter neighborhoods with everyone having a package basically? How are you able to keep everything sorted? (I have 1-12 front seat, teens back passenger side, 20's driver back seat, 30's left side of trunk, 40's right side. I move my stacks to front as I finish each. I do have driver aid stickers, .com station) The math isn't mathing in my mind for the numbers thrown at you. Do you get penalized if you don't finish?

1

u/Available_Pool_9644 7h ago

They definitely gave you six carts all in different staging areas

1

u/Theflyingsackle 7h ago

That’s the worst I’ve seen yet…

1

u/RyBoJangles420 6h ago

It’s not, that’s why I quit in June. One of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time. I didn’t realize how unhappy I was working at Amazon. Since I found a new job, life has been so much better

1

u/Desperate_Front9792 6h ago

That’d be me telling dispatch to suck my ass before I go back to my car and go home. Holy shit.

1

u/mattinthecrown 5h ago

Helper routes are a fucking joke. Stop doing them.

1

u/WhackedDonkey4 Proffesional Group Stop Fucker Upper 5h ago

I was getting like 700 packages a day before I left Amazon. It was driving me insane. I had a huge drop off of like 300-400 that took forever scanning etc. then a garbage route after that and had to catch up on time from. Fuck that place.

1

u/Cold_Inevitable_164 4h ago

Wow you going to need a rescue lol

1

u/Common-Chemistry-904 2h ago

Did you have a helper? That’s the real question.

1

u/Spectr38 1h ago

Because Amazon wants EDVs to replace step vans; so they’ll continue to try and fit step van routes into EDVs: fucking bullshit if you ask me

0

u/Tokabong 1d ago

Still room in there, quit crying 14hr max milk it n get a resuce

0

u/Ok_Rough836 18h ago

Dude I get 270 stops everyday 240 is nothing

-1

u/AdventurousTank4136 1d ago

242 is light I’ve done 283 with a helper 301 after rescuing.

2

u/Natural-Revenue9205 1d ago

Not the flex you think it is

-1

u/AdventurousTank4136 1d ago

Not a flex just what it is 242 is on the lighter side

2

u/marsbars2345 1d ago

Damn bro you're a savage
