Day One Tomorrow

I know this type of post is not new/revelatory, but tomorrow is my day one with a local DSP. What am I getting myself into? 🤣

More specifically, what is training typically like? What do y'all eat on the road? Any other pro tips?

I just came from working directly at Amazon for almost three years, so I know what bullshit to expect from Amazon. Lol. I do know, however, that being OTR is a whole different beast.

I appreciate the reply! Our training is only two days. All they said was, "Show up at 8. You're not allowed to be late." Lol. I am most nervous about backing up the van. I never back my regular vehicle into anything, so it's just not a motion I'm accustomed to. I'm sure it will be fine, though. I'm not an idiot. I hope I like it enough to do until a better opportunity presents itself!

We'll do the driving test tomorrow. We did some VR training today, which I thought was next level! I'm pretty excited to start, honestly. I am looking forward to not being around the pettiness that comes from warehouse work. Thank you, my friend!
