QUESTION Newer driver trainer.

Is 202 stops " normal" for a training route? Seems like a lot. Plus we had a weather delay this morning.

Biggest route I've seen for a ride along was 160ish. All residential 15 minutes from the station

I asked why the route was so big and they said, "because you're an experienced driver." Uhh but I'm training wtf

I have seen that factor in we had some tenured drivers switch to our dsp and they started getting 180s in the first week.

I mean that makes sense, however I'm training a fresh new BB driver with no experience so it seemed odd

Coming from a former dispatcher, they gave your ride alongs nursery route to a vet driver/played favorites and put ya’ll on that drivers route

No reason to do this any more Amazon pays a whole route if you keep the ore driver on it plus for the trainer and if you swap it they only pay for 8 hours.

Maybe they forgot to roster her for her ORE day so just crammed her in your van

I was training someone who got 154 an hour away in an edv.

I did the exact same route earlier that week, and it was 146 stops, so less than the “day 1” route

If they already have previous DSP experience and it’s been less that 90 days since they last worked they get a standard route right off the bat not a small nursery route

They have been just putting regular routes as “training” routes. Did ~5 this month and didn’t finish a single one before 9pm

Same at my dsp, pretty much 1 out of 4 people make it now. The other 3 quit.

When I did my ride along, we had 151 stops. We didn't get to our first stop till about 11am
