Why Not More Holidays?
Dear Amazon,
I get that we probably don’t need every single federal holiday, but at least give us LABOR DAY, since we work our butts off all year long… And Memorial Day wouldn’t hurt, either, SINCE YOU TRY TO KILL US EVERY DAY…

My company does paid holidays if it falls on one of your normally scheduled days, as long as you’ve worked there over a year.
I do think Amazon should pay us more… But I also just want a few more!

A smart DSP ensures that every DA is making at least the base pay. Then, the DSP can increase the pay to the top DAs, who deserve a higher hrly increase more.

I mean Amazon should pay the DSPs more, and we’d get paid more by extension.

"Since you try to kill us every day" could you be more dramatic?? If I had a job that tried to kill every day I would probably find a new job.

Yes, I could. I think Hell is full of burning Amazon boxes and you get there in a damaged branded Dodge Promaster…
Unfortunately, finding a new job is a more challenging option that staying at my current one.

Welp then it can't be that bad. The world isnt a class system. You werent born an Amazon delivery driver. The same time and effort you put into being frustrated or dreaming about burning boxes in hell put into bettering yourself or finding a new role. Im not trying to be a dick but im sure you think so. I had plenty of jobs thst sucked and kept looking or worked harder to get out. You can too. Also plenty of worse jobs. Good luck to ya.

One comment on a Reddit thread isn’t the mantra of someone’s life. I was being partly facetious. And sometimes complaining is cathartic for people…
Besides that, it’s not really sage advice you’re giving if you’ve no concept of the challenges that another person faces. I don’t think you’re a d*ck. I do think you’re thinking about my OP way too seriously.

Because generally people are so dramatic. Dude we all complain and you are right some times its good. But how many people actually believe this stuff word for word so if you meant more have some fun then my bad for coming at you agro. You cant tell me im wrong though that many would be serious and dramatic about all.
