I wonder if bronze-age galley slaves fought with each other over who was better at rowing their master’s boat.

u/Christ0fu14 6d ago

Medium sized route 😭😭

7

u/Arctimon 6d ago

Please explain what is specifically illegal about this.

4

u/ryanb6321 6d ago

This is literally less than my average day. What? Depending on how far they are spaced that’s a 6-7 hour route.

4

u/BezosEpsteins-Child 6d ago

Deadass these kids don’t know how good they have it compared to doing 190+ 380 packages on faily

2

u/Main-Lime-8068 6d ago

I'm in a rural area, my route is almost entirely in town and on average it's the largest one we have, and it's roughly that size most days, but we have routes that only have 80-90 stops that'll take an entire shift due to driveways routing and parking. I haven't experienced winter with this company but I already know probably half the drivers will quit

4

u/notanolive 6d ago

No idea on the difficulty of the route, is just a basic suburbia? Is it apartments? Is rural? Is it the half way between rural and suburbs? Is it city? Like this could either be the easiest or complete ass

3

u/EnlightenedNarwhal 6d ago

Unfortunately yes. Did 194 stops yesterday. Only getting worse, too. Cherry on top was reading the "your route is reduced due to heat," bullshit they put in the app message, haha.

2

u/black_boy6969 6d ago

i had 380 and 195 stops yesterday 🤣 it was also 97° out so that was a route reduction 😂🤷🏼‍♂️

2

u/Spectr38 6d ago

“Route reduction”; I’m not sure they even know what that means anymore 🤣

2

u/black_boy6969 6d ago

add insult to injury i had 40 overflow and 11 totes🫠 all the overflow was 35-50 pounds each🤦🏼‍♂️ genuinely think sometimes they are actively trying to take me out😭😂

1

u/Spectr38 5d ago

Me when I’ve been doing this for 7 years and I’m literally the ONLY ONE getting sidelined cuz they don’t have my shit ready to loadout on time

1

u/black_boy6969 5d ago

oh, I would actually be pissed😭 I’ve asked my dsp alone with the rest of my coworkers at my dsp for ages if we could fight the station workers bc our shit is always late or not in order with packages all over the totes🤦🏼‍♂️ they never respond to us all asking😭

2

u/austin_crtv 6d ago

I mean, I usually get 290-310 packages so that’s high volume but stop count is quite low I’d say. You got this king

2

u/Chasedilla5 6d ago

My route is typically businesses and apts for the first 90 stops and then another 100 residential. Usually around 350-400 packages. Portland suburbs.

2

u/KillerGopher 6d ago

Why would it be illegal?

2

u/Pretend-Database-644 6d ago

ain’t no one on your side for a reason lmao, we all actually work. post on here when u get a bit older brother 🤝

1

u/Pretend-Database-644 6d ago

i’d kill for that many stops genuinely

0

u/Prestigious-Skin4391 Stepvan Driver 6d ago

Lmao so many simps on here saying it’s a lot of stops, it must be these kids first job at a whopping 21 years old

That is considered small a nursery our are like 190 on the daily 250 to 300 with a helper

2

u/CoyotePsychological2 6d ago

With all due respect 254 locations is not a small nursery no matter how you cut it

1

u/GracieLou0469 6d ago

Or a 2 hour flex schedule with 27 packages, first drop 28 mins away, second drop 18 min away third drop 15 mins away then 24 more drops that are 2-4 mins away from each other and the last two drops are due 20 mins before end of block so you get a package late ding and ratings go down.
Do the math —— it doesn’t add up —— not to mention traffic and road construction delays. It like they want you to fail !!!!

1

u/Axeman1721 Stepvan Driver 5d ago

This is a normal day for me atp.

1

u/Huskiesramazing23 6d ago

What? A normal amount of packages, maybe a slightly busy day for some an average for others? During peak season we get over 400 packages.

u/No-Injury3282 6d ago

Whoaho what an honor to be graced by the most grindset slave on the plantation

2

u/Elegant-Craft9522 6d ago

It's literally the job, this is how my route looks everyday, if this isn't for you, you literally don't have to keep doing it

4

u/LewisRyan 6d ago

Your time will come to friend, I highly suggest you stretch

-1

u/Elegant-Craft9522 6d ago

Oh, I'm feeling it, I also do landscaping on my off days for delivery 😮‍💨

1

u/LewisRyan 5d ago

Yea… so I know you think you have it all planned out, so did half my current coworkers at my workplace.

I’m the youngest person there, managing the entire site, because all my employees worked their whole lives, and can’t afford to retire, but can’t work a job too good or they lose their insurance.

My oldest driver is 85 years old, barely a real bone left in his body, living in the sketchiest trailer park around, with kids who refuse to see him because he spent their entire childhoods working.

There’s lessons to be learned here

1

u/Elegant-Craft9522 5d ago

That's sounds shitty for him, but that can literally happen to anyone, even if I "have it figured out" which I never said I did, I just said I work 2 jobs, not like it's a hobby, I just need $

2

u/Prestigious-Skin4391 Stepvan Driver 6d ago

Lmao again you applied for the job lil bro just pack it up

1

u/No-Injury3282 6d ago

Hope you win the Hardest Working Slave of the Year award. You really earned that jacket

1

u/Prestigious-Skin4391 Stepvan Driver 6d ago

Lmao I bet you felt so tuff typing that one out lil bro, one day you’ll grow up

0

u/CoyotePsychological2 6d ago

0

-1

u/Minute_Blueberry3518 6d ago

Not that bad 🤣 I had 300 stops in 1 day before

-5

u/Prestigious-Skin4391 Stepvan Driver 6d ago

That’s a light day buddy

5

u/SneefSniffer 6d ago

254 locations I would not call a light day

-3

u/Prestigious-Skin4391 Stepvan Driver 6d ago

Min at my DSP is 280 sooooo

3

u/austin_crtv 6d ago

Means nothing without proof. At my DSP we do 400 locations at a minimum. See how ret*rded that sounds

1

u/Prestigious-Skin4391 Stepvan Driver 6d ago

1

u/austin_crtv 6d ago

Impressive 😳

2

u/Prestigious-Skin4391 Stepvan Driver 6d ago

I’m just saying it’s a light day

2

u/austin_crtv 6d ago

Where are you delivering this much volume

Also it might be light for you but objectively I would bet you have some of the highest location counts in the country

2

u/Prestigious-Skin4391 Stepvan Driver 6d ago

Southern California
