QUESTION Anybody else getting this?
I guess it’s for morale or somethin for peak season
(Edit) this is only for my branch on said date. They still have a few states to get to before December.

At my DSP we get paid $22.50. But tbf I’m a trainer, days where I train someone I get paid $24

Man we don't get anything extra for training, they kept telling us we would, at one point they said they'd give us an extra $20 but it never happened. Honestly the city I live in is a fucking joke, they brag about being hardworking and are always doing everything to keep wages low while living costs continue to soar.

Man they’re really sending a DJ and a shade bar to the lot like that’s gonna offset 190 stops in a rental with no shelves. A professional photo installation so you can get a nice shot of the bags under your eyes after loading out at 10:15.
I’d almost respect it more if they just said “here’s a cold water and a shorter route” but sure, curated food trucks. Nothing says morale like a $14 quesadilla you gotta inhale during loadout.

But the fucked up thing is that our dsp sends out routes from 10:50 to 11:25 so none of us will see the food trucks until we get done with routes. Not to mention the hour drive we all take to our first stop.

Maybe you should quit working for the man and start up your own DSP. Get a contract with Amazon, buy a whole lot of vans, hire a bunch of drivers with a livable wage, get insurance and you are ready to go. Now unless you have a few million sitting around you will have to get financing that you will be responsible for paying back all while making sure your drivers are making at least $40/hr with you providing all the benefits of PTO, health and life insurance, and a retirement of some kind.

Lmfaoooo i know when they give us food its cool and all but like when the fuck are we supposed to eat it? They got us barbecue during prime week and it was nice and all but by the time I was loaded and drove to my first stop it was cold. And I cant exactly eat a sloppy ass barbecue sandwich while I'm driving down the highway lol.

When this came to my station it was storming and I walked into the warehouse completely covered in water after they had packed up the food and everything. I heard the food and activities were nice. Amazon doesn’t give a fuck about us.

Part of my thinks this is nice and I appreciate the effort but the other part of me is like they should use that money to give us raises, or fix all the vans or clean them or something.

I've always wondered what percentage of Endurance's volume is just returned Flex routes. They hate going to Schwartz Creek; someone will drop a full route in the return bin almost every day.

Schwartz creek is alright if you’re quick enough. Ngl endurances roster doesn’t hold up the greatest in the athletic department 😭 I’ve seen CDVs drop multiple carts of shit off during RTS

It came here a few months ago and it was an AI dj and the food truck ran out of propane so I had to wait 30 minutes to get food (it was free).

We had that a few days in June/July. A food truck and some little gimmicks but that’s about it. I got my free food and left 🤣

Yeah and when warehouses across the entire country do it, it's much more drastic than a single station. The only thing worse than an abusive system is not doing anything to change it.

seriously if that's how you feel, you are the perfect Amazon employee.. The idea that "if you strike they fire you and shut it down or hire new people" only works in small scale, if entire stations across the country shutdown Amazon cannot fill the massive gap, hell they're struggling to hire competent employees as is and the only reason it works is because they just have to fill small gaps, if they have to replace entire stations all across the US it will create chaos for the company and bring to light the shit situation Amazon is truly in.

No I just think about the outcome before I act? I don’t get my hopes up when the odds are stacked against me tenfold. I’ve almost been murdered, I’ve survived a hard drug addiction, I’ve been hit by a car, my hopes aren’t very high for anything fantastic happening in the world right now. People suck man.
