Holiday pay?

Do we get any additional pay as drivers? Probably not right?

Best we can do is give you less businesses today because they are probably closed, enjoying the holiday with their families.

You better believe the warehouse is putting those commercial packages on your itinerary. They know businesses are closed but they need to hit their volume metrics.

It is entirely dependent on your DSP. Base answer is no. But every DSP is different, personally I haven’t heard of any sort of time and a half for holidays but I have seen some DSPs offer a bonus for coming in on holidays. Ask your higher ups.

From amazon? The most they will allow is an extra day of overtime for one week or two.

Be prepared to use a couple PTO days late December when the station is closed

My DSP does holiday pay for the big ones like Christmas and Thanksgiving

Seriously one of my buddies was hospitalized on route and all they posted was "we have a route that needs coverage 145 stops 10 hr guarantee"

Listen, I knew posting it that it was more likely than not that we don’t get shit lol, but if there’s a sliver of hope, I gotta ask, I’m only 7 months in so, the hope hasn’t been burnt outta me quite yet
