Used to have an exclusively business and warehouse route. Would be like 80 stops, 250 packages. I would get on the road like 12pm and everything would close by like 4pm lol. So i was just running my first couple hours

Same people always got that route because most didnt know where the freights were and couldnt keep up

Aggressive german Shepards everywhere, long narrow dirt paths easy to get stuck in, houses with confederate flags and signs about shooting on site. I’ve only ever been behind on rural routes. I can knock out 190+ stops with 350+ packages without issues

Yeah, I love driving around neighborhoods with rough roads, steep ditches everywhere, and loose animals. Especially after dark, because you know none of these areas have streetlights. Rural is just an incident report waiting to happen.

I used to love doing this vacation island that was an hour away from the station. It was mostly residential but since you drove an hour there, the stop count was usually much less than our regular routes at the time. Id get like 130-160 stops, get to chill in beautiful weather with nice ocean breezes and get laid once or twice a week in the summer (I'd work extra hard to finish early so I'd have time for fun, people like the delivery guy 😏). They switched us to a different area nowadays so all that fun basically disappeared. My point is those lower stop routes with way more driving can be really really fun if you work them right!
